It is great when family all agrees, so sad when family goes against the wishes of someone who has led a full life. We just had a 100 yr old woman on our unit last week who's family insisted she undergo radiation for a newly diagnosed cancer. At 100 years old!

I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom died at the age of 47. I can only imagine how blessed you are to have had that many years with her, and she with you!!! I pray that the Lord comfort's your family, and that you find peace within your memories! God bless. Pam |
| I am so sorry for the loss of your Mum. She was a fantastic age, my mum was 93 when she died a couple of years ago. She is still your mum whatever age and I am sure she will now be your guardian angel and be watching over you and your family. Hugs xx |

| Thank you all so much. We are having her viewing tonight. She wore a pink tiara for her 94th birthday We will put it on her:) She is being laid to rest in her favorite pink jogging suit!! She was a wonderful woman and I was lucky and blessed to have her so long. We are singing her favorite hymns. What a friend we have in Jesus, How great thou art , amazing grace and a dear friend is doing the music and she will sing "go rest high on that mountain" by vince gill .That was my moms favorite song. She loved pina coladas so after the service tomorrow we are all having one, or two or three. We will celebrate Maude's life. She was a very interesting and fun person. I will miss you Maudie

| Cindy, I'm so sorry about your mom. Losing a parent is the hardest thing. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my dad who died 5 years ago. In memory of your mom, have fun tonight--sounds like that is what she would have wanted. |
