Dutch is such a good hostess

When out for our walk this am we found a small King Charles spaniel that was running loose so we brought him home with us . He is quite thin, smells a little doggie and his choke chain is to tight to get over his head. Tomorrow I will be phoning all the vets in the area and the dog shelter to see if someone has placed a notice re him.He has no tags but perhaps he is microchiped. Quess I will have to have the vet or dog shelter get the choke off of him also. Dutch had no problems with him coming in the house and she even just sat and watched as he ran to her food bowl and ate (I forgot that it was out  ) Dutch has been busy herding him around but he doesn't seem to mind and she thinks this is great having a play toy LOL. So please wish the little fellow lots of luck

Awww! Do you have bolt cutters? I always worry about too tight collars. It isn't embedded is it?

Jean, you are so sweet to take him in. This stuff always happens on a Sunday, doesn't it?
What a good girl. :D :D
I hope you find the owner - and take that choke collar off before he goes back!
I agree - why does this always happen on a Sunday?
I hope you find his owner and he is ok!
A King Charles in a choke collar? That seems so excessive for a little dog. Is the loose end of the collar stuck like it got pulled too tight? Thank you for taking care of the little guy. I hope his family is a good one.
I'll do my best for him :D A friend thinks he would not be more than 3 years if he is that old.

it is just a light choke and it is not stuck altho it is on backwards , it isn't digging in but it is to small for him

LOL, I thought he would be getting fed up with Dutch so I put hin behind a baby gate to give him a rest and now he is howling his head off , I guess he wants back to play but he's there for the night :)
