Welcome from the California Desert! 8)
Welcome from New Mexico..like they say... at least its a dry heat. :)
Welcome from Minnesota. :D

We are at a chilly 65 - as another storm just passed by this morning.
Sending some cool air your way!
Welcome from PA, where we're as hot as you guys up north!
Welcome from the Southeast where it has hovered in the 90's day and night.
Welcome to the forum :) I love the name you chose for your oes :)
Last time I checked I had four dogs under the shrubs on the north side of the house......deep in their dens. It's amost time to tell them to come inside......they prefer to stay outside until 4 or so, barking at the UPS man from their underground bunkers. Gives me time to clean the floors from their dirt drop yesterday......or, why bother.

Once I turn on the cooler each will find a floor vent and falls asleep on top or beside it.
Welcome from Minnesota!

Hi!
WELCOME!
Hello and Welcome from Winnipeg (MB, Canada)!

Tracie and her sheepies
(Portage and Hudson)
Welcome to you from uk :D :D

And sadly yes its raining AGAIN :(
Thanks, all! Sheepieboss, the OES I had as a kid used to take up residence inside a big, fountain-shaped forsythia bush for most of the summer. She always looked like a lioness, and we'd call her JungleDog while she was in there.

As for Hermione, she's a city dog so in hot weather she hangs out on the bathroom tile, natch. Her hair's longer now than in the picture-- though she'll probably get clipped again next week.

Willowsprite, glad you like the name Hermione! Seemed a good fit, in terms of Hermione from HP: English, long wild hair, smart, stubborn... :?
Just fed the dogs and birds. While filling the bird water and refreshing dogs' outdoor watering cans, MO started snapping at the water. Her way of saying, "Let's play and get me wet!!" So she got soaked to the skin, my feet as well, and now she's a very happy puppy. All are inside now. It's 100 right now, maybe 101.....and about 30 mph winds. Blast furnace.
Welcome from the land downunder, that's been in drought for 10 years Pant Pant Pant

Yep, the heat wave has broken. Suits me! Hermione is glad to have the AC off and the windows open again. Now, if I can just get her to stop 'leaking'... (see thread in Medical & Nutrition)
Will we see you at the NEOESR Picnic on Saturday?
When/where/link??? Maybe!

Okay, I see now... Westfield. Lemme think/plan-- would love to try!
It is a GREAT time. I don't know what town you're in, but Westfield is just a bit west of Springfield about 10 minutes (4 or 5 miles) from exit 3 on the Mass Pike.
I'm in Boston, like you (JP!). I'll see if I can move things around so I can go. Sounds like heaven, all those sheepdogs in one spot! :D
I'm actually in Southborough, but nobody outside of 495 or inside of 128 knows where that is. :D :D

On the other hand, Everyone who is Anyone knows JP fairly well. ;)
