Old Navy Dog Toys

I'm not saying they are the best quality pet toys but for some reason Ben doesn't destruct Old Navy's dog toys as quickly as some I've gotten at Petco, etc.

Anyway, I was in Old Navy this week and their Christmas toys are on sale. The squeaky Santa and bones were both under $1 (regularly $3.50). They also had frisbees, some kind of odd pink or blue rope & stuffed reindeer, leashes and collars.

Just thought I would pass this on in case all of you Santas out there needed last minute stocking stuffers for their fluffers...

Big Ben also loves the candy cane shaped rawhides from the pet store. Something about the shape, he can kind of hold the curved part in his paws and chew on the rest. Hope they have some left when I finally make it to Petco!

So far Ben has been a good dog the past few months, he must know he is being watched! Ho ho ho! :D

This is good to know! I don't think the Old NAvy near me has dog stuff anymore. I had gotten tons of leashes, toys, etc. at Old navy a few years back really cheap (99 cents for a leash) and I bought tons (too many! lol) and donated some to shelters and actually still had some put away that I'm sending overseas in a care package to a K9Team serving in Iraq. I also have put them aside and given as gifts to New Puppy owners in my family (or friends) in a Puppy Gift Basket .

I'm going to go to a different Old Navy and see what they have!
Thanks!

Kristen
Thank you! I haven't been into Old Navy in awhile. I could still use some gifts for the stockings. Do they have cat toys or only dogs?
I am glad Big Ben is being a good boy. Give him a treat and a belly rub from us.
Stormi and co.
Lennon and Sofa are not very interested on the bones, but their dog frisbees have proven to be indestructible, I recommend them. Sofa also has a sweater from old navy that looks nice, and if you are interested, they sell the upright matching set.
wow!i didnt even know Old Navey carried stuff for pets 8O thats pretty cool,im going to have to check it all out.I wonder if the store in the Mall of America will have a large section of pet stuff.

Thanks for the info, glad to know your furry fluff ball enjoys his toys, isnt it so much fun to watch them enjoy new toys like our upright kids??hehe!!
We don't have an Old Navy...lol... but then again we don't even have a wal mart..lol
Does Old Navy have a web site?
Old Navy does have a website (oldnavy.com), but it doesn't list anything other than clothes for people. Bummer!
Chris
You know, I really thought Old Navy did away with their dog toys & accessories. I hadn't found them in the stores for a while but they reappeared for the holidays.

Just in case anyone was going shopping they were in one or two of the check out aisles in the store by my office.

I don't think they had cat toys but I'm going to check for Fletch anyway. He's an old fogey (about 14 to 15 years old) and doesn't play with toys much anymore. We always got him the catnip toys but Ben gets to them before Fletch. Luckily they don't have the same result with Ben...that's the last thing we need is a stoned dog. He walks into enough walls and furniture as it is.
A few weeks ago I got Emily a cute sweater from Old Navy. We are home in Buffalo for the hoildays and with all the snowing I'm glad i have it. I don't have to dry her everytime she comes in the house.
My sister and I always make the trip to Old Navy when the family gets together at our cabin. 7 dogs need some sturdy dog toys to play with.
Does anyone else buy their kids little trinkets for Valentine's Day? My brothers and I always got a little something from my parents - books, candy, etc. Nothing big. Well, I do it now for our kids now but never for Ben. I never really imagined there to be dog toys (and cat toys for that matter) sold for Valentines Day. Petco is full of them!

Anyway, I was in Old Navy (again) today and guess what is half off? Old Navy Valentine dog toys!! I got Ben this rope tug w/ a heart in the middle. I know my hubby is going to think I've gone off the deep end but who can resist a toy for $2.50? They had leashes, collars, squeaky bones and a squeaky roundish think w/ a conversation heart design. Hey, for a few dollars why not?

Just thought I would let everyone know - especially all those new sheepie families out there looking to give a valentine to their baby sheepies!! :D
Hey everyone!! :D It is funny when we moved to Wi. my best friend gave Mickey this pink bone dog toy and it is form Old Navy!!!1st thing I thought was wow!!they do exsist!! Mickey loves this toy he can hold it in his mouth and make it squeak!!So Im going to go to Old Navy tomrrow and check out the Val. day toys thanks for the heads up!!
I was in Old Navy twice over the weekend! They didn't have many dog toys - but it may have just been that I couldn't see them over the piles of everything else I got! I got children's PJs for 97 cents! Adult PJ's for $3.99! Hats for 97 cents, Boys Boxer Shorts for 47 cents, Baby Sleepers for $2.99, Girls sneakers 97 cents. I was like a kid in a candy store! LOL

Did I mention - I don't have children! :o

I'm going back again - this time to one of the stores that sells the dog toys! Wish me luck!

 Kristen- you're too funny! I hope the reciepients enjoy all your great deals... I'll be tucking that old navy good deal info into the backof my head for later use...

Karen :)
Those great deals is why I stop in Old Navy from time to time. Even sale stuff (not clearance) is usually a great deal. I don't mind so much when the kids stain their $5 t-shirts, not to mention Old Navy stuff is 'cool' in the 2nd & 4th grades....yeah! (When you get told every morning that the clothes I picked out for the day would make them look dorky I need to count every shopping victory possible, haha!)
Does anyone know where to find old navy dog toys on -line, other than e-bay? I am trying to find Bella-Blue a replacement of one we have , that she thinks is her baby! It was blue soft plastic in the shape of a cat, and she absolutely loves it! However, our other dog is starting to rip it and I am going to need to replace it soon! Thanks for the help!
Maybe Yahoo shops or the Amazon shops? I've never tried but, after eBay, it's the only place I'd think of. How old is the to? Have you tried an Old Navy outlet? They sometimes have older stuff.
Panda got an old navy green sqweeky bone for Christmas, she loved it!! But she did puncture it soon after...darn those sharp teeth  It did not fall apart after the puncture...just didnt sqweek..I just threw it out the other day, because she got new louder sqweekies :D :D I was pleasently surprised how well the toy held up...hole and all
Old Navy Frisbee's are the best frisbees ever!! I buy about 3-4 a year and my dog has a blast with them. They are thick bendable rubber instead of hard stiff plastic, so the dogs don't tear them apart as easily. If I buy the ones from Petsmart they last maybe 2 days. The Old Navy ones last about 3-6 months, depending on how much my puppy plays with it!!
Dixie , the border collie mix in our therapy dog group, LOVES the Old Navy frisbees. Her dad does too. He says they are the only ones worth buying.
Our dog, Bubba, lives to play frisbee. He wakes us up in the morning with one in his mouth. We usually buy 6-8 every Spring/ Summer from Old Navy because he does not tear them up. They have not had any in some time!!
The guy there told me to try "Old Navy" on line and they don't have them either. Bubba has this fragment of a frisbee that we throw for him. It is PITIFUL!

Oh well.... :(
Thanks for the info and it just so happens we will be going to the Old Navy today - yeah for new toys!!
I just called the customer service for Old Navy to see if their frisbees would be available anywhere. I was told Old Navy decided (due to popular demand) to bring back the dog frisbees. They are supposed to hit their stores in August 2008.
My two GSD's love old Navy Frisbees as well. I buy 10-20 at a time! My dogs always play tug of war in between throws. I usually get several weeks out of a pair but they play at least twice a day right through the winter. I don't know what I'd do without them but I'm glad I won't have to find out!
I bought five of the Old Navy Frisby's at the Menlo park NJ mall last year. Much to my surprise the next time I went there they told me that they got rid of all the dog stuff. My dog is crazy for these O.N. frisbys. She will not play or catch any other. She'll just leave it there. They are soft and plyable. The last time they wre selling them for $1.00 each and I bought 5. I should have took the hint. I wish O.N. would tell us where they got them from. I tried another soft frisby (10.00) that felt like it weighted a pound.Barely able to toss it and my dog runs after and leaves it there. Come Old Navy, dig up your surplus and give them up aleady! :headbang:
Do you happen to now where I cab find some tried and true dog frizbees? My dog loves hers but it has seen its days.
I just came across an old navy dog toy at the thrift store (I gave up long ago on buying Bo Toys that cost $5-$15 @ Petsmart, he destroyed them in a matter of hours...in one case 5 minutes, I buy old stuffed animals for 15 cents @ trift stores)) But this O.N.toy is awesome he knaws & scratches, not in a snag! I love Old Navy clothes...now my mini-schnoxie can love them too!
I don't think anyone who has never used an Old Navy Frisbee understands!! Now they are discontinued I am scouring China for the manufacturer. If I find them I will be buying in bulk and selling on eBay. I am so angry they discontinued them. I have spent tons of money trying to find something like it. I hear so many suggestions, but like I said, if you never used and Old Navy Frisbee, you just don't know!!!
I actually get the Old Navy children's toys for Tonks and Luna. About once a year they make a min-soccor ball that is quilted like a large one, and made of something that might be leather. The girls LOVE it. I had 4 of them for about 2 years, and they were really worn out when I found new ones earlier this year. We let a little of the air out, and the girls are crazy for them:

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the Old Navy Frisbee? My dog just tore his in have and wants to play bad!!!
I miss people from this thread.
I guess it been kind of quiet
Great news! Old Navy Dog Supply Co. is back in store! Saw frisbee's, bones, leashes, collars, and rope toys last week. But they seem to have stopped carrying dog stuff on their website...
