Has anyone tried Flint River Ranch?

I was wondering if anyone here has tried the Flint River Ranch dog food? They have free shipping and it has gotten really good reviews on the dog food analysis sites. I was just wanting to know if anyone on here has any experience with this food. My little guy doesn't like the food he's on now and I am trying to find something without corn in it because he is itchy. I figured I would try ruling the corn out first and seeing if that helps him.

He was just barely nibbling on his food yesterday and then SCARFED the chicken I gave him. So....I know he is hungry but will only nibble on his food when he gets desperate! :?

I have never had a picky eater or itchy skin problems with any of my dogs so this little guy is a new one for me!

Yes and we really liked it. Edgar is no longer on it though as he has way to many food allergies. If I got another dog who didn't have so many food issues I would get it again in a instant.
Bella has food allergies too, so we are feeding Canidae Lamb and Rice. It is the only one that has worked on her itching and bumps. Nigel eats it some days, and skips a meal on others. I have never had a male sheepie that I can remember that wasn't a picky eater. Bella will eat anything!!!
funny I have had two males - eat anything. my female is very difficult to please.
I use it for all of my dogs and have been for several years. I use the Fish and Chips formula with the "matching" treats. My Teddy had many allergies (rice, wheat , corn, beef, chicken. lamb and more) so I started him on it when I couldn't find the formula I had been using from Solid Gold when I moved to FL . It is easier for me to only have one type of dog food in the house so everyone gets it including the rescues. Ordering is easy -- I order on line (www.flintriverranch.com) or on the phone. I normally get 3 boxes of 2-20# bags in each order. When I open the last bag I place a new order. It is usually at my front door the next day or the following day. The treats (flat squares about the size of a saltine) come from another location so they take a bit longer to arrive.

The dogs are thriving (with 1 cup in the am and 1 cup in the PM) and my dog food purchases are easy.

Thank you guys so much for the information!!! I have samples on the way to see if Mr. Picky likes it! :D

It's great to see that a couple of you have had good experiences with it!

It is much more expensive that what we have been feeding but from what I read it is WELL worth it and they eat less of it so it seems it doesn't end up being that much more in the long run!!

It's just so hard to find "kibble" that isn't made of complete crap.....I have been doing a lot of research on dog food lately and it has just left me disgusted! 8O

Thanks again!!!!!
Just called for the samples. Sounds great. THANKS, I have never heard of this food. :D
