Thanks!
Actually, they rotated spots the whole trip home.
One was on the seat, the other on the floor. Then they would switch. Never both in the same spot.
Crazy boys!

Sitting on the seat is new for Chewie too. He always sat or laid on the floor. Then all the sudden it was like a light bulb went off "I can be up here" and he loves it. Only took a year to figure out.....

I had a hatchback with the back seats always down when he was a puppy, so a seat wasn't an option then.
I'm back in California and had a wonderful expereince flying USAir and better yet the hospitality of the St Louis OES club! I took some shots on Sunday at Purina farms as well so I wanted to share a few here. You can also look in my photo album to see more as I upload too.

My favorite shot of the day... are these gusy having a blast or what?

Image
Tag, you're it!

Image
I love this one too. I'm not sure who this is, it could be Bentley or someone else all together.... but I love the shot of him looking through the fence... somebodies grass is always greener, even to a sheepdog!

Image
Tammy, Beauregard and Geniveve in a paddle boat... this was just amazing to watch all these paddle boats filled with sheep dogs and not a single miss hap with the dogs and boats... That is not to say a dog didn't end up in the drink... Sam and I had a splash about...

I have more and as I find time I will upload them to my photo album, but feel free to look and see what I have...

St Louis OES Club ROCKS big time! This club is so well organized and the event was really worth flying out to attend, even without a dog of my own. I would recommend this event to anyone who would like to see what sheepiepalooza is about even if you can't bring your own dog, you will not be sheepless, this I can promise you. Also a huge shout out to Julie B and Addie who picked me up at the airport. I felt so welcome and a part of the event. Thanks Julie, you are an angel.

Leslie
Tyler'sMom, those are the best pics yet! So many great photos of the dogs! Thanks for sharing them!

gotsheep, I love the picture of everyone going home in the car. Simon is too cute!
I'm just LOVING all these pictures, what a BLAST you all must have had!
Looks like everyone had a great time :) I am really enjoying all the photos :)
I'm telling you, the St Louis OES club was amazing. So organized and some really fun events that everyone even me, who's dogs had to stay in California felt like I was part of the fun and could participate in. My job was to be an extra leash holder and lover of sheepies and take photos. I could do all of those things with my eyes closed... well not really  Dogs could end up in ponds if you close your eyes... or try to take a photo and not pay attention to the kid on the end of the leash.

It was really fun and worth the price of the ticket to visit with Jil and to see that many sheep dogs in one place.

Again, the local club really had their act together. I wish we had a local club. There should be Sheepiepaloozas everywhere, perhaps we could rotate hosting a palooza of sorts.... who knows? I really can't say enough good things about the local club in St Louis.

Oooh, those top three candid portraits are great.
I only managed to get a couple shots in the play area on Sunday before my battery lost its juice:

I think this one speaks for itself:

I love that last pic of Basil. I don't think you could train "play dead" better than that!

Thanks again for taking the action shots of the boys. Now that Bear's cords are growing out, I love watching him in motion. :)

Oh, my....!!! 8O

Is that a sheepdog getting sucked into the cords????

Anyone come home short a sheepdog???

JILL!! Have you frisked your dog lately??? :twitch:

Great pictures :D

KB

Yes it does look like a sheepdog in peril!
In the one above that pic, Basil is almost completely absorbed. You have to look closely but you can see a little white leg coming off Bear's right. 8O
LOL

I don't think there are any bones in that dog (Basil?) in the last pic!!!

Bear enveloping a sheepie!

Thanks for the laughs.
Great action shots.
Basil fared much better with Bear's cords than he did with the drool of bigger sheepies:

thanks for letting us feel part of your wonderful time and all the terrific photos with all the wonderful sheepies :clappurple:
