Lemon cream recipe (for fruit)

This makes a good topping for any type of berries. For something more substantial fill crepes with fresh mixed berries and drizzle the cream over them. Also easy to do a lower fat version using neufchatel cheese and low fat yogurt. I like a more pronounced lemon flavor so I toss the berries with some juice or add some to the cream.

4 ozs cream cheese at room temp
3/4 cup vanilla yogurt, drained (I've also used lemon)
small drizzle of honey
2 or more teaspoons of freshly grated lemon zest

Beat cheese, yogurt, and honey with mixer, stir in zest.

That sounds good! :)
I'll have to try that next b/c it does sound delicious!! In fact, I think I'll try tonight! We eat berries and dip every weekend and sometimes every morning. We use an 8ox package of strawberry-flavored cream cheese mixed with a 7oz of marshmallow creme (kept in the refrigerator).
mmm, this sounds good!
