Try not to pick up any stray puppies along the way and don't forget to leave the keys!
We're waiting for you. The latch string is out. Have a safe trip.

Harry, Barney and Maggie and all the St. Louis sheepies are looking forward to all you folks setting out.
Get ready for some GREAT food and delicious cocktails....(surprise!!!)....Can't wait to meet EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

SHEEPIE....SHEEPIE.....SHEEPIEPALOOZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I find puppies today I will leave them in your back yard 8O I have the leash on guinness and I am headed out!!!! :yay:
Have a great trip! I haven't even started to assemble everything I need to leave friday morning. I did throw a pile of laundry on the spare bed this mrning next to the still partly packed suitcase from my trip to florida two weeks ago.

I am afraid I am fgoing to forget something for the dogs but I guess there are stores everywhere

Ditto and ditto.

Every trial/show I travel to I spend the first ten miles mentally reviewing that I packed what I need. Inevitably I convince myself I forgot to pack the dog(s). I haven't forgotten one yet, but I did get half way to an agility trial once before I remembered I had forgotten to pack a leash

I'm still not sure who I'm bringing of dogs. I probably need to make that decision soon....

Hate packing. Looking forward to seeing everyone though.

Kristine
Drive safe everyone! Hubby will be there on Saturday, if anyone needs an extra hand to hold a leash  .
AGAIN, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've started pulling some items together and mentally gathering them. I do a very good job of this, but we'll inevitably be packing up until we leave Friday morning. Of course there are a few other things that came up for Thursday evening (get nails done and pay a condolence call).
We'll probably leave around 8AM on Friday and then stop in Peoria to see my SIL's house and have some lunch. See you Friday afternoon/evening.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We're packed, but don't have the Highlander loaded yet. It's got to go through the car wash today (no time to wash it myself  ).

We're so excited, I know I won't sleep a wink. :excited:
WARNING! WARNING! SHEEPDOGS ON THE MOVE!!! THEY ARE COMING FROM ALL DIFFERENT ENDS OF THE STATES. Moving toward the MidWest in great numbers. They will be coming out of Mini Vans, SUVs and all different types of transportantion. The States are not, I repeat are not being oven run by Sheepdogs....even though it may appear that way. If you see big black noses followed by very shaggy faces, do not be afraid....take cover though because the clowns of the animal world have come to play....and you just may be their chosen "play toy". Back off and put on a rain slicker if you see one taking a drink of water because a rain shower may ensue as they shake their sopping wet beard. (I think I see a twinkle in their eyes as they see us run trying not to get splashed or used as a napkin.) They'll bump you and try to get you with "the hook".....multiply these activities by ? sheepies...

Have a great time at Sheepiepalooza and have a safe trip!
Very cute, Helen.
Holy crap - we made it home from NY and the Cape. I am on my 2nd load of wash, and vacuumed quick before I go get all the dogs.... I imagine they will be nuts when I get them home and didn't want to try to unpack or clean - just hug!!! :D :D

I am heading into town while getting the dogs, need to make laminated copies of the new rally signs to bring with (they added a few new ones for 2008- and I want to be an up-to-date presenter!) And buy anything I can think of to bring with for this trip.

Plus make the copies of the sub novice rally course for all you, and make up the novice class for Harry and Sybil and any other brave souls.

And repack for a dog event - the Element is totally unpacked, ready to reload this evening!
And, I am really dreading driving through boring Iowa again tomorrow....... :x And no sense washing my vehicle, the gravel road I live on is chokingly dusty.
Glad you made it home safely, Dawn! You're a brave soul repacking and leaving out again tomorrow. I don't know if I'd be up to that or not. But, I'm awfully glad you are!!

:cheer: We're outta here!! :cheer:

:excited: See y'all tomorrow night!! :excited:

My house-sitter is gonna love finding out I've got two more puppies for him to take care of this weekend.
The mafia is leaving in 5 minutes ...

uh, never mind - apparently we are leaving NOW!

See you in St Louis, MO tonight!
