quading and walking

well I finally took the dogs with us when we went quading(ATV) on a hiking trail. one that we could find between all the fire breaks, pine beetle tree cutting and now they are burning a line for new sewerage pipes. All the trails we knew are gone. BUT any ways we did find a good trail and the dogs loved it ,we could go only on low gear Because Sami wanted to walk in front and had to make sure we were following her. Blue and Dakota had a ball running and playing. I think Sami was trying to fiqure out how to ride the thing and I get off a walk. 8O I was worried they would try to herd but they did not. David was walking and went up ahead at times and that was when Sami finally ran ahead but kept an eye on me. My son on another quad behind me ....also watching me... talk about worry warts. I am just poky and like it that way get on with 2 arms and 2 legs working gewtting off that way to. 8) And the MUD I have to say I never seen BLACK mud, Between my son and the dogs not sure who was the dirtest. When I went to wash them Blues legs were do black I could not see any white on his back legs. I used Mane and tail for horses boy it did work thank goodness. Wish I had pics... next time.
