instructor or not?

I had a private lesson with a very good instructor this weekend. I learned a number of things (mostly good) about my dog. In almost two years of Nike training (you know just do it!) I have never had anywhere the amount of information given to me about how to do things and why. I left with assignments and the invitation to stop in at any Tuesday night class and of course we are working on scheduling another private lesson.

This instructor is and hour and a half away (and 6 gallons of gas :P ). Here is my dilemma. DO I bail on my other "classes" which are really just run throughs and train at home with road trips every three or four weeks to this instructor?

I have equipment at home (and Kristine photos to follow for other pieces :) ) I really think I am wasting my time and money in my other classes (and have checked out others at well that don't seem to add anything more)

what to do what to do what to do :lmt:

With the price of gas now I would ditch weekly classes if you feel confident enough in your own training abilities.

I only take each of my dogs to a few classes for extra socialization before their first dog show, and that's it.
