| I once read this cute story in Readers Digest regarding grandchildren and grandparents. The mom complained her children seemed to enjoy visiting the grandparents and appeared to like them better. Not at all the grandma said..."it's cause we never say no." I thought of that story when reading your post.
Maybe MIL is spoiling Shamu rotten!! That might be her secret weapon!
