Could it even be possible?

Can't sleep and I'm exhausted after working two jobs in between taking my three furkids for walks, spent time with all the others too...then I had to go and look. Oh why did I look?

For once, not on an animal site or rescue but MLS listing in my area. I wasn't even even thinking of selling my home at the moment, but I had to go and look! Sigh. How can this be possible? This fantastic home that is just PERFECT for all my animals ---can I possibly get it for them? I had to do a double take..it can't be the same price as my current home? No way!
I called the realtor to make sure. It was!!! The yard is fantastic but the interior has worn carpets and very outdated. Hey no problemo I can do home renos!! All those years of installing laminate, crown molding, doors, ect in my own place ..I can do it!!! It has a double lot...2 yards!!!! OMG!!! Room for cats, dogs, bunnies and even has a three car garage!

The photos show the home is very outdated but who cares as I am just drooling over the yard. I never thought it possible but in the blink of an eye I knew I wanted it and will put up my house for sale. Urg..the work involved is daunting..my house needs gutters fixed, back door fixed...but I WANT THAT HOUSE! Just click on my photo icon and you'll see why it's perfect for all the critters. I'll take on a third job if I have to..I want it.

The man that owns the house is aged and spent 20 years building his award winning garden that comes complete with fantasy type little hotels..gasp The Hotel Victoria..in a small town of 2000...OMG!!! I worked at the hotel at age 17 when I travelled after graduating from high school.!

Okay that's it...I should go to bed. Cross your fingers everyone as perhaps I'm silly wanting to purchase a house in a split second..but my gut and heart tells me this is right. The next two weeks I'm going to be frantically getting my house ready for sale.
PS click on my photo icon and you'll see why I need to have it.

Oh....! Its SO lovely! I wnt you to get it so badly! goodluckgoodluckgoodluckgoodluck!!!!!
Wow Marianne what a great house...I can see your bunnies running free on the lawn. I'll cross my fingers for you!!!! Good luck~
WOW, very nice Marianne. I hope it all works out!!!!!!!!
That is beautiful! Wow it would cost millions of pounds here 8O It really is ideal, I'm not surprised you want it so bad.

Marianne it looks like your summer of work has been decided- If you had that intuitive nudge (and it sounds like you really did!) then you really have to go for it.

When we put our house on the market, we still had lots to do- but the estate agent (realtor?) said DON'T DO IT because the next people to move in will want to do it themselves, and it would add nothing to the price or saleability, like you want to do the inside of that house. So check that the work is necessary first before you put yours on the market otherwise you might be wasting time, money & energy.

I'm really excited for you, please keep us posted! :ghug:
It's LOVELY Marianne!! :D
I'm drooling over that fantastic yard too.
Hoping this will work out for you.
Holy Cow Batgirl!

I'll come help you with the reno's . . . Bentley will have to come to supervise, but you'll have plenty of room!
Does it come with a gardener? I'd hate to take on the property because I know I could not keep it the way the creator did without full time help. It would kill me to let it fall into disrepair.

Our place is slipping since DHs back surgery......and it wasn't anything at all like this beautiful garden.
Good luck, Marianne! The house and grounds look fantastic!!
Oooh, I likey! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I didn't mean to dash hopes, just realize how much work it will be either to remove those plants or to try to maintain them. Also what will your taxes be with the extra lot?

Yes, I can see your animals having a fine time there! Good luck.
Man oh Man!! That place looks fantastic!! I've got my fingers crossed for you, Marianne!! Good luck!!
Good luck Marianne!!! Fingers crossed!

Yeah...like THAT'S gonna happen.
I have blisters on my feet as I just returned from walking around that neighborhood for hours with Panda. I fiqured to get the true sense of the neighborhood I needed to walk around and view things from up close rather than driving.

Guess who stopped us??? A sheepie owner!!! He lives right around the corner and has a year old dog named Bailey. Just like the X files ...the signs are all there...Hotel Victoria (the mini hotel the owner built) located in Lillooet which is where I spent many happy summers as a youth, sheepie owner around the corner..and two schools within walking distance which I can perhaps apply at.

Okay means I have to spend the next three days cleaning my place in order to bring the agent over to get ready for the sale of my place perhaps.

Marianne
if you really want something, try your best to get it.
but don't be disappointed if this one doesn't work out.

i will tell you what just recently happened to me--if you care to read a novel....

we had been renting a nice little farm when the owner's informed us that it was going up for sale. they offered it to us, and everyone thought that we should buy it.
in my mind, it had always been a "hold-over" until i could get my
dream home. you know-when i was rich!! so, i didn't want to stay there.
i started looking like crazy. doing things to improve our credit rating. paying off debts. blah blah.
then i found this great house. i wanted it. i loved it. it was almost a perfect match for my dream house ideals. i tried for a couple months to get this house--but the money was just too far out of reach.
i was heartbroken.
the house we were renting started to get offers--our time there was running out!! where would we live--now that i screwed everything up by turning down this perfectly good house?
well, not a minute too late ('cause our rented house was sold!!!) we find the perfect house. everything i always wanted to the tee!!!!
we made settlement in November, and boy am i glad that the house i loved didn't work out.
i tell you (probably something you already know) just incase you put effort into selling your house, and you for some reason you can't get the one you love--it will not be in vain. it just means something better may be on that horizon. go for it!!!!

I think its beautiful, but my first thought was, "Oh my! Look at the yard work. She already works soooooo hard.....I'd hate to see her take on so much that it physically runs her down! Then I thought, "Well, if the set up is 'just right' like she said, it would make life easier on her, or at least equal out the work in the end."

I'm all for whatever makes your life easier! You do so much for others, and for all the critters that you deserve your dream home. Good luck!!!
Marianne,
Do you EVER sleep? :)

Good luck w/ your endeavor.

I wish I had 1/4 of your energy!
Marianne,

I look forward to having another throne in your living room. 8)
Good Luck Marianne. I'll say a prayer you get it. Sounds to me like you'll buy the yard if they throw in the house. :D
Thanks everyone for the comments and wishes of luck!

George you hit the nail on the head! "Normal people" would look at a three car garage and think ohhh workshop...I thought oh place for the bunnies in the winter! "Normal people" would look at the side yard and think egads so much lawn to mow (I always mow my 1/4 acre with a push mower anyhow) and I thought oh perfect for Blue, Merlin and Panda and I love the fact the hedges are so high! I view things in terms of how life would benefit the critters -, lots of places for the kitties to snooze - deluxe mini hotels!!! Sigh .

Okay trying not to get my hopes up..meeting with Morgage Broker in a few days.
WOW 8O
That place is amazing!
Good Luck you certainly deserve it!
Crossing all our fingers and paws!
I have all my fingers crossed and Mona Lisa is crossing her paws!!
:ghug:
Good luck with getting your dream place!
WOW critters and their mom paradise :D

Keeping everything crossed for you and all the fur kids.

If you do end up there is their a guest room for your twin to visit? I dont eat much

Wishing you huge success for this place and HEY get on with the tydying up on where you are now so you can sell it asap. :go:

Now when I do visit you at the new critter paradise do I pack a life saver too ? 8)
You are going to need some electrical garden equipment
8O 8O 8O

I just hope those critters will appreciate that I'm willing to get this place for them!!

As for those that want to come and stay with me should I be lucky enough to get his place...everyone would be welcome. The man that created those little mini hotels on the property (I posted 2 pics - there are 20!) Room for everybody...ha ha! Of course would help if one was a leprochun or tiny person.
