he'll be fine. being a pull it may reoccur from time to time. what class is he starting?
I'm certain that he will be fine. Aren't sheepies famous for being clumsy? Phoebe has run into the wall and crashed into things in her eagerness to get somewhere. I'm always worrying about her. You may want to talk to the trainer about the class. The first night might just be preliminary stuff that is intended more for you than for him.
im sure he will be fine...give him some extra love!!

the other night panda was fine....we were out back playing (no jumping, just running) then all of a sudden she started limping and later chewing on her foot....i couldnt find ANYTHING wrong...so i gave her some peanutbutter with an asprin in it and the next morning she was fine....
what kind of asprin can i give he is only 12 weeks old
For all we baby our sheepdogs they are incredibly tough and resilient. We were driving down the main street in town here on our way to the local swimming hole with Grizzly in the back of my Land Rover. We had the soft top on and the sides rolled up, just enjoying the balmy evening warmth. All at once he saw another dog and leaped out of the truck. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw him rolling down the pavement; he came to rest under the rear tire of a parked car. I stopped, he got up and ran to the back of the truck. We continued on to the swimming hole. That evening he got stiff in his hind quarters and could barely get off the floor. I was worried to death and stayed up with him the entire night. Next day I took him to the vet. He had a cracked bone in one of his knee joints; within a week he was good as new.
Sometimes pain can be... well, I don't want to say a "good" thing... but it can help to keep a dog quiet so he doesn't overuse an injured limb or injure it further. Pain meds reduce the pain allowing the dog to be more active. I'd just keep him quiet for a couple of days (a puppy quiet? yeah, right!).
Oh poor fellow. Just like little kids, it's hard to keep them from hurting themselves when they play. I'm sure he'll be fine in a day or two if you can keep him still. Good luck with that!
the amount of asprin depends on the weight...at that age, id only give 1/2...and only at night....the asprin seems to knock panda out so that she sleeps instead of licking or chewing the ''bad'' paw....

oh and its just normal buffered asprin....no ibuprophen, ever!
he is still limping trying to keep a pup down is soooooooooooo much fun!! he is being neutered on monday along with fixing his herina and now looking for one of is testie's poor guy has not had it easy he finally healed from my old gal getting him in the lip
