This Am before I woke up Mickey had the time of his life.I got up and saw xmas paper all torn up,and I thought uhmmmmmmm......I wonder if Mickey unwrapped a gift that was under the tree??After checking all the gifts I notice that yes indeed he did.the werid thing tho is he unwrapped the only gift that is for my daughter from mickey??? ![]() So then I see had grabbed some very flavorful chapstick from my daughters room(cotton candy I think)I couoldnt find the actual tube of it but the snap on lid and some of the wrapper will I pick that up and throw it away and when I turn around theres Jagger with the tube in his mouth wagging his tail,he then dropped it and Mickey bowed his head down and got all submissive. It was a total brother telling on his little brother. At 1st I thought will maybe jagger did this and poor mickey is getting into trouble,BUT then I said 1way too tell,so I smeeled their breathe and bingo mickeys was as sweet as a bag of cotton candy and jaggers will it smelled like his bone ![]() So any of you ever have one dog tell on the other? Can dogs really understand that yes they gave a gift to their upright sister?Man it was just crazy,as Im yelling at mickey telling him NO!Jagger is running around wagging his tail!!LOL!! ![]() |

I've had a dog rat fink on another one (on more than one occasion). They are smarter than we give them credit for! ![]() ![]() When my sister had her first upright child - she had 2 dogs already - and both of them were fairly well behaved. As with any newborn - there were stuffed animals everywhere - and they would normally leave them alone - except any stuffed animal that looked like them (basset hounds) - they would chew up! It was very odd - they would pull this one stuffed animal out of several and destroy it. Kristen |
Pooh Bear does it to our cat all the time--she'll be getting into one of our plants and he'll "come and get us".....it's only fair since he gets yelled at for "pouncing" on her. |
Another side to this....
Sydney used to come and get me when Brittney needed help (if she had fallen and couldn't get up). So - just like true siblings - they like to get each other in trouble - but when it comes down to it - they'll also be the first to help them when they need to. |
Absolutely- kitty girls do that too- not so much telling, as coming and getting me if there is trouble- or coming to me when I'm in trouble (always there for a cuddle if I'm upset). There was one occassion where Bell tried to climb up the back of the sofa and got caught. I was in the bedroom, and didn't hear her brying. Iris ran and meowed at me, then ran into the living room and jumped on top of the sofa. I went over to investigaet, and sure enoguh, there was little bak, stuck halfway up the sofa! The whole time I was getting her out, Iris stayed on the sofa watching me with a "why aren't you working faster?!" look! I think dogs and cats are very keyed into what is going on emotionally and physically with the creatures around them. I think that's one of the reasons it is so wonderful to be able to have a pet!

Like karen and I was talking when she came over Saturday,I will NEVER understand how ppl can say dogs/cats are JUST animals w/ no feeling or smarts, and they should be outdoors and not let into the house. I watch Animal cops on animal planet and man I get so [angry] watching the many terrible ways ppl negelect these wonderful creatures it just makes me sick. You need a licence to drive a car,but any dumb [person] can get an animal and just destroy one of Gods creatures. Its a privledge to be able to adopt an animal not a right. Thank God we all know there are ALOT of ppl who love aniamls are out to protect as many as they can.Im so thankful I have my boys thats for sure ![]() |
Hey Tanya....stop watching that show...it's the only way....I wasn't sleeping at night after watching it, so my wife banned it in the house. I feel better since I've stopped watching it! |
