introducing myself and my dogs
I have 2 dogs. An OES called Blue, shes 4 years old, and a German Shep mix with some other spanish dog. She's called Pepsi and is 3 years old. Will post pics of them once I've worked out how to do it lol. Been looking through the forum site for a month now and wished that I'd know about it 4 years ago lol. It's jam packed with lots of really good info and advice and I really love all the pics of the other dogs and seeing how different they all look. Hope you all love the pics of mine. |

Yes u pronounce it as may-eva. It's Irish, though I am no where near Irish at all, just a name that runs through the family. Have put photo of Blue on site now, will put as my avater once its been approved. lol  |
| Actually thinking about it, I think its more like gave, yeh gave, maeve. Confuses people cause it has the extra 'e' |

Thanks to all of those that have welcomed me, Blue and pepsi (peps) for short. Originally I lived in Bristol, but am now living in Spain with Hubby and 3 kids for the past 4 years. Will put on more photos of the rest of the family under the pics. Thanks again. |

We live in Costa Almeria, which is right at the very bottom, directly south. We love it here and the kids love it and they are all fluent in Spanish, which I'm jealous about, though I can just about get by. And yes u have had SOME sun in England the past week as my hubby is there for a few months working, but it wont last because everytime u have nice weather, we have crappy, rainy weather, but its on the change,
I have also read all of the Maeve Binchy books. My nan buys them for me, lol. My great nan was reading a book about the Queen Maeve of Ireland, and liked the name so my nan had it given to her for her middle name, though she uses it as her first, and then my auntie got it as her middle name, and I unfortunately got it as my first name, yes its a good talking point because its unusual, unless u live in Ireland, but the amount of people that get it wrong, or think it should be Mavis or Mav, or I have to repeat it loads of times before they eventually get it right, being a Sarah or Lisa would have been a whole lot easier, I have a French middle name and it's worse than Maeve. Anyway.... We called Pepsi, Pepsi because she has the colourings of the drink, Pepsi/coke, and thought Pepsi was better than coke. And we named Blue because her fur colour is Blue and White, it's a 1 syllabal word and it was easy for the kids to say as well. Her registered name is PIPPINS BEST and we got her from a breeder in DONCASTER in England. Have uploaded my photos so I hope u all like them. |
