Procrastination

Did I spell that right?

We are going to Sheepiepalooza. I wanted to get my boys groomed right before we leave. HA!!!! Ain't going to happen. I called my regular groomer and its a no go. I called the groomers that I used to go to...nope. I called a groomer that my dh met and talked to...same. We have a card from a portable pet groomer and I called and though things may be a go...she told me it would only take an hour or two per dog. I'm not a novice at taking a pet for grooming and this just didn't sound right.(Yes I questioned this)

I am nervous about taking them to just anybody because we have had bad cuts before and what is done(bad or not) can't be undone before Sheepiepalooza.

I've actually entertained, though not for long, the thought of doing it myself.

Don't worry Pam. One hour after you arrive you won't be able to tell the well groomed dog from the ones who weren't groomed since they will all be playing hard.
Yeah, that's true, Judi.

I made appointments for the wigglebums a month ago, just to be sure they could get in when I wanted them to go. Of course, they shaved my poor boy (due to my lack of communication with the new girl in there  ), so he won't be any trouble to bathe & get ready to go anyway.
I HATE when you suddenly think "many my furkid needs to be groomed" and then expect the groomers to be open. I have done that SOOO many times.

Normally I'm not a procrastinator. that's my husband's area of expertise
I have to admit, I bring my dogs in their "street clothes" when we go to events. It bums me out to spend forever getting them ready and having them get filthy in a few minutes. For that reason, you guys get the every day versions!
Oh my! You were actually thinking of grooming them beforehand??? I was thinking about a shave :D Gotta call the groomer for the day after we get back. I'm sure Foz will reek! I had a dream last night that the groomer closed shop without telling us :D
Mine are going to the groomer AFTER Sheepiepalooza.
This is Chewie "after" last year on the way home - yeah, he was a mess and very tired!

One hour groom?? They must think "shave."

Go for a one hour brush out, muzzle wash, bum trim. Then do the big clean afterwards.
