Atlanta- Sheepday in the park May 4

We had a great gathering today at the park with approx 50 ppl and 35 sheepies together. Several of the dogs I have placed through rescue showed up and they are always a joy to see again. And lots of the listers here came.

I'm planning on having a Summer Solstice night in the park after work on June 19th. Basically we are close to the longest days of the year then and just wanted a mid week get together to run the dogs. Anyone wanting to come it will be light out till close to 9:15 or so. We'll start at 7pm and play until... this is not an official sheepie day.. just a get together after work play night.

As for today.. please post your picture links to this thread.
It was so good meeting all of you.

Thanks,
Fiona

Hi Fiona,
We had a great time today and it was nice to meet so many people! My girls have been knocked out ever since we got home today! They are exhausted! :) Jill
Fiona;

thank you so much for organizing this! Our crew had such a great time!

I'm downloading the over 300 photos I took yesterday of everyone. It will take me some time to edit them all, but I'll upload some of the nicer ones here and then put the rest on my Flickr account where everyone can enjoy them and download photos of thier dogs!

Sadly I think we will have to miss the Summer Solstice Night. We have an work-event starting that next morning and we usually drive out the night before.... But who lnows.... maybe we can come and leave for our event afterwards? I know I don't mind getting to Charlotte at 2am!
okay; the first shots are what I dubbed "group shots". These I thought were the best of the bunch. LOTS more to come.

once I edit the next batch, I will also start to uplaod the full sized files to my flickr.com account. I'll post a link so folks can grab shots of themselves and their Sheepies.
okay; I'm back to editing and uploading. I've also begun to update my flickr.com account. You can go there to download large sized files that should be suitable for printing.
This is Roberta's pictures. Her dog is huge.. Name is Cully and has the boots on his feet.

These are some great photos!! I had some that Bill sent me (he & Pat adopted Daisy, whom I fostered, a few years ago from Southeast). It looked like y'all had a great gathering! You can't help but smile seeing all those sheepies playing and having such a good time together. :D

Your links work fine, Fiona. Thanks for putting names to the faces. :D
Nice pictures - and lucky guys to have a beautiful day for your gathering. :D :D

It looks like humans and dogs had a great time! :D
a couple more; these are of my pups Tonks and Luna:
