Question re: my gastrointestinal distress--TMI perhaps

Question for the nurses, EMTS and moms. I've had diarrhea since Friday afternoon. I'm not dehydrated or vomiting. My stomach doesn't hurt. I don't have a fever. No blood in the toilet. My stomach gurgles and rumbles, then the diarrhea comes. It's not necessarily after I eat. I've been eating chicken soup and crackers and drinking water and 7Up since Friday night. I had 2 waffles for breakfast this morning.

My question is, should I be worried? It seems like MAYBE it's getting clearing up (or there's nothing left in my system).

If it is a virus in your system then a bland diet is best to "flush it out".
You've probably emptied yourself out so just watch it for a bit. Are you taking any new meds? That seems to be a more prevalent side effect for a lot of meds out there. 8O
You didn't get into a bottle of cheap scotch, did you?
As Mandy said, I'd stick with a bland diet maybe throw a little immodium in for good measure. Most likely a stomach bug. You could also have picked up some mild food bacteria, not enough to make you sick just enough make you loose. If it hasn't improved mid week I'd call the doctor.
