I hope you decide to go ahead and participate...

I am entering Pearl and she(WE) has never done any of this...

I also entered Heart in the subnovice agility..(that should be a riot).

I figured, this is a great opportunity to see what we can do and have a lot of fun doing it!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooo excited about SHEEPIEPALOOZA!!! This is my first year and I can't wait to see all those sheepies playing together and meeting everyone I have been talking to for almost a year!!!
I suppose Guinness and I will provide comic relief for those that are serious about this 8O
Well...there is power in numbers    ...so we'll be right there with you and Guinness....
I am entering Harry in the NOVICE Rally - he has no clue what he is doing but I was feeling adventurous and up to the challenge.

So that should be worth several laughs for everyone!

If Guiness is a therapy dog he can dog this! I am not letting you back out!!!!!
I almost forgot to mail mine - putting it in the mail today!

I am putting both dogs in novice agility (Morgan hasn't so much as done a jump in four months - should be entertaining). And I put both in sub Novice rally - that's a sport where I really need some field practice!! Marley has never done Rally and Morgan hasn't done any in over a year.

Somebody better be video taping this!!
Y'all are so brave trying this stuff. Maybe I should've entered in something just for the entertainment value.

Yep!!! :D :D
Oh what the heck? :D Might as well join in and embarass myself with the rest of y'all.

Judi - I'll PM you and send you another check to sign us up in Sub-Novice Rally and Obedience.

You go girl!!!!! :cheer:
I am entering Pearl in Novice Rally and Novice obedience..She is very well behaved but has never done this before. This is for a great cause, but I am wondering what it involved in Rally...overall details anyone????
Thanks....
Ah, I didn't enroll Foz, can I still do that? Maybe the Agillity for Dummies :D
Stacy---

Yes....The deadline is tomorrow, but I am sure if Judi knows you want to Foz just PM her with which events and she'll put you down.  (can't wait to meet Foz...and YOU of course...)
I will soon be posting the Rally Novice signs...thanks for the reminder.

At a real show you have no idea which ones will be picked. There is a booklet with all the signs used at each level. You have to practice all, as any in your level are fair game! The booklet is available in pdf format online or can be ordered from AKC. The 1st one is free if you call your order!

Link to AKC rally - http://www.akc.org/events/rally/index.cfm
There are some good pictures there too. Remember - on leash and no jumps until you get to advanced - so it is easy!

Anyway! - I will make my course and throw in a few extra signs. Check out the link to AKC's website so you can read about them. (Most are self explanatory - really!)

So, if my course ends up with 9 stations, I will give you 12 or so to learn. That way, there is still some element of the real sport there.

Look for a post about it in the near future - hopefully later today, this weekend at the latest!
THANK YOU!!!! Dawn....

Now to get Heart(and Pearl) off the tuffet and outside to practice going to be the REAL CHALLENGE!!!!! What tuffet-potatos!!!!!!

I have a couple of mine entered in agility for dummies (also known as subnovice... )

I'm not sure yet who I'm actually bringing, so that made entering especially interesting

I forgot to send mine in!!!

I did send a PM to ask if it was ok for me to Fed Ex it overnight; it will arrive on the 5th. But I never heard back.

I'm Fed Ex'ing it anyway. Please! I'm begging! Let us come! I'm sorry I got scatter-brained and forgot to mail it in!!!

Judi may (will!) give you crap about it, but don't worry - you are in!!!!
I don't think Judi's been on the forum lately to answer. She's what you call a VIP.

I'm assuming she'll be thrilled to get you registration that quickly. As usual, I'm behind, too so I just filled out the form online and sent it to her in an e-mail. The check part is always more difficult because it requires me finding my checkbook, which is nearly never used and always in a new hiding spot!

Besides, I know Judi will be so thrilled to see me show up, she'll let me slide, right, Judi? I know Harry will let Clyde slide. :)

I am back! I will be double checking with the reservation person tonight to see where we are.

If anyone still wants to sign up for performance events that is great. As Val suggested just PM with what you are wanting to enter.

I did get the messages that people sent me when I was gone and will take care of adding them.
Welcome Back! We missed you! :D

I had sent a PM a little while back inquiring about registering Tonks and Luna in sub-novice agility, but hadn't heard back. They've never done it before, and I'd like them to try it out. But they are 6+ months old, and I had read that puppies aren't supposed to do the jumps. When I didn't hear back, and the deadline came (and went) I filled out my form and enrolled them just in case its okay to do. IS IT okay for them to do sub-novice?
