In Need Of A Special Furever Home

Hi my name is Rodney, and I really need an especially special furever home. My foster mom adopted my biological litter mate, London in 2006 and I got adopted to a very different home. At the end of March I got dropped off at a strange and horrible place called a dog pound or animal shelter and through a lucky break I am being fostered with London in Baton Rouge, LA.

I need a really special home because I have apparently been scolded and yelled at a lot (possibly even hit). Because of this if you raise your voice or even lift your arm to point - I think you are mad at me and I will pee on myself. I am trying so hard to be good and give lots of kisses and snuggling and I am really am housetrained. But if I think you are upset with me - I will cower and pee on myself.

My foster mom cries over me and tells me that me and my sister are so much alike and it makes her so sad that I am so timid and scared. She promises me that she will find the perfect home that will be very gentle with me and remind me all the time how much of a good boy I am.

Signed, Rodney

This is Wyn - Rodney's foster mom. I am heartbroken that someone took a beautiful pup and somehow has him reduced to a very scared and timid sheepie. I so wish I could keep him as well but unfortunately I can't.

If anyone knows of a very gentle family that would be interested in a beautiful sheepie boy (and be willing to deal with some in-laws) please p.m. me. Because of his connection to London, I really want to find a very special home for him.

Thanks!!!!

Poor guy. You'll find him a great home!
Just to let anyone know Rodney is great with children about 8 and older and is fantastic with other dogs. He will be available through OES Rescue Network of the Southeast. He just turned 2 on April 7th.
Wyn,

He will find the bestest home, cause he got a Guardian Angel looking over his shoulder..
You'll bring him out of his shell, even if you have to carry him around to do it! :D

Oh sweet dear Rodney. He'll come around. Our dog before Mona Lisa had been abused (not an OES) and it took about 1 year or 1 1/2 to get him back to normal but he finally came around. Some people are such idiots!!
