Oh I know I can't wait to work in the yard and just to be outside with my dogs
I'm sooo ready!!!!!Beautiful warm weekend...(no more earthquakes, please). Pearl and I are walking in the Variety Parade with the other therapy ...(TOUCH)dogs. Jake , one of Heart's OES buddies from STLOES is walking with us.

(Unfortunately, Heart must stay at home with Cosmo..!!!!!)
I can't wait it is going to be 80 degrees here tomorrow (well according to the weatherman).

Herding tomorrow and then doggier baths in preparation for Harrisburg next weekend.
I'm not ready. My weeks need to be longer so I can get more done. I've got a cook-off (contest) this weekend and keeping the house clean [to sale] sucks when you've got a crazy toddler who thinks the more toys out the better, stinky pooper newborn w/reflux, a cat who doesn't know how to cover her poopsies, a small rat dog who likes to scoot across the carpet, and then just yuki who likes to bring in the slush/ mud from outside. I don't mind all that normally ...it's just I need more sleep to make up for the hours I'm up correcting their imperfections ;) :P

The weekend just means I have an extra big kid to look after who is a stinky pooper, thinks the more toys out the better, doesn't always flush completely, and likes to scoot across the carpet....

Last time I went to the Dr. 10 weeks ago I was 158 lbs. 3 lbs over my usual. Now at home (good scale) I am 139 lbs. I don't look to good as a bean pole lol. Since I am 5"9"

You guys all have a safe week-end :)
ME ME ME!!!!! I'M READY!!!!!

Well, things just got worse! Joshee got his HIB and PC shot today (he's on a delayed schedule since I'm a paranoid momma) ...and he hasn't stopped crying since noon. It's now almost 3. I had to take naked (because burning up) baby into grocery store to get infant Tylenol (only had children's). I can't imagine the faces I got since lil J didn't have shoes, one sock (i just couldn't handle the screaming to care), and boogers down his face since he's also sick from going to our friend's house last weekend.

Hopefully the Tylenol kicks in. It pains me so much when they're sick and so young. It's the oh my "shakes" god mom............... cry. I hate having to trust his temp w/my thingy. I always feel it's higher but nurse told me to wait it out longer. Hope he wasn't allergic although nurse said he probably isn't.
If you lived here IT IS ALREADY THE WEEKEND WOO HOO, :P

Lazy morning with a nice breakfast and still in my PJ's

Sunny 24c today and a lovely Autumn day, off for walkies with Brie at the park this afternoon when I can be bothered to get out of the PJ's
Have a wonderful weekend all! I'm pretty much stuck in the church kitchen this weekend. Started today when we made 255 loaves of sweet bread and I frankly don't know how many cookies.......I was just PO'ed it was taking the ladies so long to get them rolled out, braided and egg washed before I ran them thru the ovens.

Only one first degree burn today, not bad for dealing with those ovens. I really need a baker's jacket with long sleeves.

Tomorrow prep for big Palm Sunday dinner......so more kitchen work and then cooking on Sunday. Sure wish our hottub wasn't broken, I'd be up to my eyeballs in hotwater right now.......but the shower is singing my song. My knees, feet and back are singing their own off color song.

Enjoy your spring weather!
Sharon! Hang in there! I'm glad you've found the miracle of the fruit of the vine! I feel your pain! Jo....babies cry!!! You know that...and you know it will pass...and you will forget! Have some wine too!

Girls! We should all meet at a spa (in Chicago) sometime and be pampered and eat too much...and drink a wee bit too much...and leave ALL the men at home!
Oh my gosh, I'd LOVE a spa day. I think I'm getting arthritis and will get checked at the end of the month, but my joints are KILLING me!! I can't even burp the baby right now b/c my hands are so fragile feeling. Anyway, so all I've talked about lately is getting pampered. I swear to goodness that last night I had a dream that I had B.Spears money and hired TWO masseuse's to come over daily to rub me down. That's how much I think about it! Wouldn't mind my toes getting done too so I can pull out the flip flops. :)

Maybe if you put some pants on that child you wouldn't have to worry about the carpets... :D

Hmm thinking Vacations make people funnier than usual!

As for me I'm slaving away in my home/yard and never ending renos. Last week I dug a drainage ditch and installed a flexible hose to the downspout on my gutter and away from the foundation of my house. After the trench digging and replacing the soil, I covered up the area with weed cloth and soil and hauled bags of river rock to cover it all. Gotta stop watching those shows as if I didn't know about this stuff - probably wouldn't worry me. It's Mike Holmes fault as I'm always worried about something happening to my foundation. Love that guy and he's instilled the "do it right the first time" so can't do a half @ job. Sigh.

Next, was continuing to paint the downstairs bathroom and install tiles down there. Later, I went to the dog park and then picked up badly needed items such as a dog ramp I got off Craigs List.

This weekend I'm repeating my "stupidness"..is there such a word? I purchased laminate for yet another downstairs bedroom and this means I have to lug all the furniture out of that room. Only prep work this weekend as my Mitre Saw is getting fixed. Next weekend I'll do the installation.

I need to replace a downstairs window aka the indoor/outdoor cat room I so desperately want. The window is in masonary and not sure how I'm going to solve that problem so means more watching home reno shows or reading more books. Stupid window opens outwards just a tiny bit and would be too difficult for the kitties to go in and out. I need a slider window and then have to install security bars to make it all safe. Urg! Means more reading. I should probably find me a good looking handyman some day but I'm always too busy with my renos. LOL!

I am determined I'm going to finish that new kitty room before the weather gets too hot. Also need to expand the extreme 40 foot long bunny condo as now I think I've permantly acquired those last bunnies I was asked to temporarily foster for 1 wk. That was 6 wks ago.
Not the shelters fault as others were in dire need of rescue and priorities took over.

Next weekend BOTH my sons are moving to new places from their current places they now live at. Egads what are the chances? The same weekend! One just had surgery and can't lift or do much , while the other is special needs and needs my help with the movers and picking up the keys to the new condo he purchased with his own money. Each place is 50 miles apart and only one of me. I want to be there for both of them. Makes my mind boggle.

I will one day be able to sip my lemonaide in my beautiful garden surrounded by my furkids....ahhhh some day.....
I'll even put on a Lei and eat fake lobster and pretend I'm Darcy. :D Then again, by the time I finish all my projects the first room I've worked on will look outdated, and I'll need to start all over again. 8O

Marianne
It cools down and then it rains. I go outside with no rain and then it is hot. Whats the deal? I am ready to get into my new planters and figure out what is in them...
 Darcy on Vacation  (where is the tongue sticking out face when I need one?)

Hubby went fishing this morning, after our usual bagel and coffee Saturday morning. I'm heading out for shopping, I need to work on decorating Oliver's room...
Weekend, nice. Suppose to be 90 here. Slept in till 9 :D :D . Hopefully hubby wont be moody (man-a-pause)
