Another bump/tumor removal for Bella

Just to let you all know Bella is going for surgery again (yes, again) tomorrow. She has a small probable benign (sp) tumor on her little toe on her right front foot. It is right on the knuckle and my groomer nicked it when she clipped her. We didn't know it was there. I am sure it is nothing, just in a really bad place and it keeps bleeding. I just need to take care of it now as I am going away in 2 weeks.

Sheepie white light would be appreciated. I will let you all know what it was after I find out...and how she is feeling.

My vet calls me by my first name now. 8O

Good luck Bella!
Hugs and well wishes for Bella today!! :ghug:
I know Bella is doing good as I have just called the vets office. Apparantly she has earned herself the dreaded "cone of silence" (for all you Get Smart fans). I will have my cone head around 4:30. I will update you when I get home.

My poor walls...she won't be able to use the doggie door...how sad.
She is home and dopey with a cone-head. I feel like these collars are torture, but I know she won't leave it alone...poor baby. :(
:ghug: to the cone head.
How's Bella doing today, Wendy? :?
She is licking the inside of her cone as we speak. The foot looks good...I just hope the staples can come out before I leave on the 1st...otherwise it's up to my husband to take her in. :)
Ah Bella the cone head...I'm sending my sympathies. Hopefully the days pass quickly and before you know it you'll see her pretty head once again.

The boys are sending kisses. Hang in there ! I hope Bella and her mom feel better soon.

Ahhhhhh...poor Bella.....hope you are better soon!! :ghug:
AHHHH!!! She is killing us with the cone...pushing us down the hall, smacking us with the edges. This will be the longest two weeks. She gets the staples out on the 2nd. My husband will have to take her in...I will be in Vegas that day. We leave from there for Argentina the next morning. Too much to do!!!

The incision is scabbing over nicely though...the dreaded "cone" is doing it's job.
Poor Bella, but happy to hear she is on the road to recovery
Awww yes....the dreaded cone is NEVER fun! I think we need a picture. :P :P

It's not as if her head isn't big enough already...but now with having a cone head, well......

Just kidding Bella....you're beautiful....cone or not!

Glad she's healing up ok Wendy.
I'm glad to hear all went well. Hang in there, Bella, the cone isn't forever!
Yeah, I think the cone is worse on us than it is on them. I remember I had bruises the whole time the cone was on from where he kept banging it into my legs.

Glad to hear she's healing nicely. That's great.

Where in Argentina are you going, Wendy? Is this a business trip? Sounds interesting. :)
Buenos Aires. It is a pleasure trip. We are going to visit friends and sight see...touristas. :D
Ahhh...entiendo bien! Habla espanol, ud?
No habla espanol...I am going to be lost. A little German though.
so glad to hear Bella is doing well! Poor coney. I do think we need pictures :D Hey--Barney's sacrificed to show his coniness!

Ooh, have fun in Argentina! My mom might go with her friend next year!
I will take a conehead picture, as soon as I charge my camera. My vet called and told me the tumor was indeed benign with a very low chance of reoccurring, and that he got it all. Hopefully that will be the last thing so we can finally start herding classes.
Good news!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that she heals up quickly and can back to herding.
Uploaded a picture...waiting on approval...
I saw Bella's cone-head picture. Awwww....she looks so sweet!!

The pictures of Nigel on the bed are cute too. I love the expression on his face. :D Bob and I still laugh when we think of how Bella used to walk up the doggy stairs next to the bed....she would get to the top and then just stand and look at us for a minute...then she would plop herself down in between us. Silly!!
No wonder she gets on the bed without much urging...I try to keep them off though...no room for us otherwise. :)
