First Time Boarding

Well; we had to go on a business trip, so I had to board my two girls Tonks and Luna, my 6 month old sweeties.

I did a bit of research, and visited several places before I found one I was comfortable with. The place I chose has all day "play groups". The dogs aren't in kennels all day; they have the run of one indoor and one outdoor play area, with other same sized and dispositioned dogs. The outdoor area has a doggie pool, and the indoor area has a web cam, so I can watch them.

Well back when i was doing my "investigating", this one place invited the girls to stay for a complimentary "doggie day care" day. This was as much to evaluate how they socialize as much as it was to help me feel at ease with them being there. While there, they trimmed the girls claws and the fur on thier pads, at my request, and did agreat job! I went home and watched the girls play on doggie web cam, and decided these were the right folks for the job.

So today I took the girls in to board. I checked in with the woman at the front desk, and a young man from the back came to get them to lead them to the play room. Tonks and Luna eagerly followed him away, and I crouched down and said "Hey! I want my goodbye kisses!"

Obediantly, both girls turned and ran over and planted big wet sheepie kisses on each of my cheeks. Then they went back to join the guy that was going to take them in back. I stood to find the guy and the girl behind the counter staring at me. I asked "Doesn't anyone else's dogs kiss them good bye?" They said no. Then the girl behind the counter gushed that it was the cutest thing she'd ever seen.

the doggie web cam is active from 7am to 7pm, if anyone wants to watch:

Evil person - letting me know after 7pm!!!
(It is just a black screen. )
I will have to check back in the morning before I go home from work. Can't wait to see them! :D :D
LOL for the goodbye kisses!!! :D

Hey, I see them on camera right now!
No sheepie girls now. :(

Were they in the big dog room, Ron?
Lots of dogs - I counted over 30 dogs in the camera view!!
I counted exactly 30 before, but there must be more. That's a ton of dogs with only one human in sight.

The sheepies are there right now and the border collies(?), too.

:hearts:
I knew I could count on you guys to not be able to resist looking in on my girls!!!

They hang out at the bottom of the screen sometimes; you can just see the top of Tonk's head as big white glow... apparently thats where the entrance to the out door play area is.
I don't see them either...

That is a lot of dogs in the room.
I saw them following the human...typical sheepies.
its like the cutest, most addictive television station ever. I just leave it on and watch all day, while working.
Yeah, I saw one of them!
ha ha ha! One of them just peed! And now all the other dogs are coming over to sniff!
i'm at work...watching the dogcam....yep!!! sheepies following the girl...typical....LOL     ( I love it!!!)
Two humans, but no sheepies. :(
yeah, I see them both now!

they really keep that floor clean!

That's one of the things that impresed me about the place; for the amount of canine traffic, it's REALLY clean. Other kennels I visited looked worn or dirty, or they smelled dirty. I also like there's anywhere from one to three people down there with the dogs at a time.
Ummmm....

8O 8O 8O  oh no...hope she is spayed!!!
 So much for being a family friendly forum
You need to show your girls where the camera is and tell them to get more screen time!
I'm sorry - I needed a laugh that picture is priceless
OH MAN!!!!

Doggie Daycare's humping culprit is usually a little white bulldog. He humps everything!

And the rules are dogs over 8 months (maybe its 10 motnhs) have to be spayed or nuetered to be able to attend.

the realy problem is that they won't sit still.

I asked them why my girls don't use the nap-time cots; I asked if they were maybe lying down off camera where I couldn't see them.

The staff replied that the girls don't lie down! They don't even sit. They just wander around, side by side, the whole time.

Explains why they are so exhausted when they get home! :D
okay; the girls are back today, but just for day care. AND there are a pair of adult sheepies there, but they are shaved and tailed and I'm having a hard time seeing/identifying them...

:hearts: Cutest TV EVER. :hearts:

I LOVE to watch this. Sort of defeats the purpose of dropping them off; I'd get alot more work done if I wasn't constantly checking in to see how cute it all is...

And yes; i think that mostly white with light gray patches is one of the other 2 sheepies.
OMG Ron! 8O That picture was doggie porn!

I just saw the girls, so cute!!
