Guess Who Our New Foster Is?
GUESS WHAT? Turns out ..... it is London's litter mate brother, Rodney! Not sure if anyone remembers but in 2006 a forum member named RobandAli posted that they had gone to the shelter and adopted a sheepie pup they named Rodney and that there still were 3 other adult sheepies and one female pup still at the shelter. I drove to FL and adopted London, and Marie from OES Rescue in FL got the 3 adults and eventually adopted them out through Rescue. Rodney's family, RobandAli, were a military family so I am assuming they may have gotten transferred somewhere where they couldn't take him. Not really sure - but once I got the email - this was definitely a no-brainer. After a 10 hour round trip road trip, Rodney and his biological littermater sister, London are creating havoc together while the older boys, Lucky and Sam look on in total disbelief. OMG there are two of them! Rodney and London look totally alike except Rodney has a little bit of gray on one ear. Their mannerisms are so much alike it is scary. But oh my goodness Rodney is just the biggest sweetie. I will post more and yes he will be put up for adoption, but whoever adopts him is going to have to deal with some in-laws!!!!!! Me, Joe and London oh yeah and Lucky and Sam too! Will get some pictures of the two of them later today. |

| Wyn! Think it was in the heavens that this was meant to be!!! How wonderful you get to share some time with London's brother and if he's anything like her..I'm sure he's a big sweetheart!

| The one on the left is Rodney, I know that because you said that he has gray on one ear. He sure looks alot like London. I'm not sure if it was karma, kitzma or the heavens but it was meant to be that you have her brother.
You are one of those special people in the world that can take these dogs in and love them and then give them up. I've thought about fostering but know that I would fail and have a house full of dogs because it would tear my heart out to give them up. Is he coming to sheepiepalooza with you? It would be interesting to see you with a sheepie on each hip! |
