Summer goes virtually straight after she has been fed, number 2 we are talking about. How many times does your sheepie go! sorry if you are eating your lunch! not really

LOL, I am eating my breakfast cereal, but I can still reply. Yay for nurses and tough stomachs!

My basset Simon is like Summer - he goes right after he eats.

The other extreme is Riley - he can go for HOURS before he needs to poop. He did this even as a little puppy. It kind of threw me. Normally, a little pup has to poop almost as soon as they are done eating. I kept taking him out, over and over.....and he finally would go hours after he ate. Silly boy.

The rest are in the middle...
The Sheepies go right after they have eaten. Lacey will accompany them, but she usual doesn't go right after eating.
Nigel usually goes right after eating. He usually goes in the morning before he eats too. Bella will hold out a bit if she thinks she might get a chance to go on the grass instead of the dog run...princess.
We found ut this morning that the new puppy goes right after eating (in the morning) last night he never went. Note to hubby feed him and WALK him before your shower!

Marley and Morgan are imposible to judge. some days shortly after they eat other days not for over an hour and sometimes Marlye will wait util 3 i the morning to decide she want to go out!

My husbands Irish setter is on a serious schedule known only to the two of them.
Phoebe usually goes once a day when my husband takes her for her longer walk. This is in the late afternoon before she eats.
But she can hold it for over a day. At first it was a big concern but now we don't worry since we know she will go when she is ready.
She prefers to go on grass and always turns her back to us. Usually she will take a few steps when she is done and scratch up some grass with her hind feet.
New food pushes the old used stuff out. Thats my opinion and I'm stikin to it. I always have to go after lunch too.
