Thank you all for your warm welcome :D

Ive put some pictures of olie on,
As you can see he is my handsome boy..
.
he did'nt have a good start to his life, but he found us.....

Now he think's he's king of the world
But we have to stop feeling guilty for his time b4 us..
Because oliver is becoming a spoilt boy

Do you think he remembers his first weeks?
he was 15 wks old when we got him,
a very sad little under weight sheepie, who didnt even know how to play..
But with a great vet and lots of love,
he is now a happy,naughty,loving,
very human!!(thinks he is) rather large sheepie....
Hi from Ontario and sounds like Oliver got his perfect furever home :D
Look at those long legs!  Baby giraffe's are also welcome. Oliver looks like a fine, fine boy!

Welcome from NEW Mexico, the US state, not the country.
oliver is now runing round the sitting room with a bucket in his mouth,
but it is covering his eyes when he holds it up to run away LOL....

Problem is....
Here it is 12.15 AM !!!!!

Oliver wants to PLAY....
Welcome from Minnesota!
Our 1st OES was Oliver - it is a great name. :D :D
Hello from the land downunder, big welcome to you all and Oliver :D
lovely piccies of Ollie hasnt he got long legs. Do you know his pedigree at all or where his breeder was from. I dont think there are too many around here. Our sheepie we lost last year, bless only 6 sudden illness, and then our new one who is about 10 months old had the same father but one came from Stourbridge near Brum and the other from Lincoln way. Can you make our Uk sheepie day. We have never been before but it sounds as if it will be fun! sorry I tend to type like I talk gabble gabble..
Oliver really is a cutie! What's wrong with spoiling your sheepie - that's what they're there for!
Hello and WELCOME from Kent UK :D

Please come to UK SHEEPIE DAY if you can, you will find the details in Chat and Playdates. Everyone is welcome, last year my partner & I were the only ones there without a sheepie- This year we have our baby Rufus  he's 8 months old. It would be great if you could come :D

Oliver will have already forgotten the tough time he had earlier- dogs live in the moment. I am sure you can see that from the smile in his eyes :hearts:

Well done for giving him a wonderful home :high5:
Welcome, Sharon and Oliver! Phoebe and I are looking forward to stories about your adventures.
Welcome Sharon and Oliver, from Chris and Drezzie in Pennsylvania! Oliver is just too adorable! And of course he's spoiled (or spoilt, as you would spell it!)! It's their jobs to look and act cute (which they do to a "T") and it's our job to spoil them rotten (which WE do to a "T")!
Reply to KTB....

This was the first time we got a dog from "breeder"
Oes puppies ad in the "friday ad", we were duty managers of hotel in surrey at the time.
We got olie on a sunday afternoon, when "himself" brought him in craddled in his arms, all hearts melted... :D

Late evening after discusions with regulars, turned out this "breeder " in surrey had been on watch dog, and rspca was in process of trying to takeaway his licence!!!(suceeded).
"Himself" and a very close friend who had 2 oes (13 y/o).. Both said they saw the ad and just went to get him, And both said they saw nothing untoward going on when they went to pick babie up..

We then went on the net, and the full horror story was there to see, not only bred oes, but all breeds of dog.. stories from people who had lost their puppies weeks after thay got them home so much heart ache..

Olie was booked into the vets the very next day, tested for everything,(vet knew of this mans work) so olie got the full monty..£££££££
After around 6-7 visits olie got a clean bill of health, we paid in end 3 x the original price..

Took Oliver about 5-6 months to behave like a proper puppy,
Now 2 1/2 years latter we look at it, as he was ment to be with us,
we were the lucky ones who got a now happy healthy loving sheepie...

Only got a written pedigree, told would send one in post (still waiting!)
But we just happy we still have olie... and olie happy he has us.
Welcome from Colorado
Welcome Sharon and Oliver....what a beautiful baby he is!
We also have a very TALL OES named Murphy.
He is about 32" at the shoulders!
Cant wait to hear all the stories from you and Oliver
Hope you can make it to the Sheepie UK day! Sounds like a blast.
Kathy
WELCOME!
Well Sharon. I had something very similar with my yorkie Tilly. I lost my old yorkie, over 17 years old, and I was frantic for another, couldnt find any locally. got a name and phone number from Exchange & Mart. Contacted the lady, really nice on phone, had just come out of hospital. She had 2 bitches left . She said they were born on 23rd May but when we got her the date was different 19th May. Anyway I sent a deposit off, lady lived in Brighton, so we couldnt see the pup, but she said if we didnt want her she would return deposit. She used to show yorkies and judge them. We traveled up on a Sunday stayed overnight and picked her up on Monday. Had a job finding the cottage, and the room she showed us into was very untidy but the lady was really nice. She apologised for mess as she had been ill. She fetched the puppy and she immediately greeted me as if I was her Mum. Why we didnt ask to see the parents we dont know! We saw one more yorkie there who was her pet. We took Tilly home, she had been wormed and had been treated with a flea program. On the way home I got 30 fleas off her, mostly half dead but she was only a little scrap. Also she needed a bath but the lady said her usual pick up day was Saturday that was why she was mucky. She had a really bad episode 4 days after we got her, enteritis, I had to sit up with her and spoon feed her electrolyte solution every hour. The breeder rang me up a week or so later to ask how she was.
The following year there was a big scandal, a yorkie breeder in Brighton had died and they had found yorkies being kept in filthy conditions in cages in a shed. Lots were dead, some had to be put down, the lady was a well known breeder and ex judge. it was the lady we had Tilly from. I sat and cried when I saw the photo of these dogs, they looked just like Tilly!
touch wood Tilly is fine, I think this lady's health deteriorated and she couldnt cope. we put Tilly in a crate 2 days after we got her and you never saw such a happy pup in your life, she had obviously been caged most of her puppy life.Sorry for long post.
