If that is in the San Diego area the OES Rescue of So. Cal. are very close...maybe an hours drive. Did you contact them about this girl?
I emailed the post to the local OES rescue.
I was put in touch with someone who might like to try fostering... she has
some great experience with the breed and geriatric care. I've also attempted
to make contact with the individual who advertised this girl. I'll let you know
if I hear anything back.

Let me know if Jane is going to take her? Maybe with several of us working
together she'll be able to find a good home.
I will let you know if Jane emails me back. I just put your post in an email and asked if she could help. If I didn't already have two...I am not that far...but my female would never allow it.
The problem I see is that this dog is old and OES rescue here in CA is not too keen about old dogs. They prefer them young and without any problems.
Would there be another rescue that might take her?
If so, I would be willing to transport or help out in any way possible.

If OES Rescue of So. Cal agrees to take her, I would be thrilled. But so far they have not taken any of the dogs mentioned on the forum in California. Most were older or had health problems or were deaf.
I emailed Jane in two different places. If we can find someone else who will take an older gal...great. I am sure rescue won't mind. :D
She looks sweet - how old is she?? Where are they moving that they can't take their dog?? I have lived all over the world (hubby army) and took all my pets every time.
Ill help in any way as well- transporting, etc.
MY GOD this breaks my heart

I was wondering the same. Does anyone have more info on the her?
You guys are so great.

I emailed the owner early this morning to see if I could get more info
about her. I haven't heard back yet but will post again if/when I do.
I have room to foster.

Sheeps Over Aces
I contacted the owner yesterday and here is her reply I got.

"She gets reeally jealous for attention. so i don't know how well she would be for someone with lots of pets, she goes crazy barking at the other dogs that share her yard now it gets annoying I think for the neighbors"

She didn't reply my question about her age though.

Too many contacts from different people may confuse her. Should I step out and let 6Girls handle it?

I can foster if needed, my only hesitation is how much she wants to eat the cats....
She doesn't look like an outside dog...

I emailed my parents to see if they want a grown up sheepie.
Thanks so much for this information. Please DON'T step out... the lady I spoke with has 3 rescue kitties. I'll pass the information along to her but I don't think she'll be a good match.

Thanks again.
Roger that, Jaci...I will stay on it
Thanks again! :phew:
I just got this email:

Thank you for contacting us. We have already been in touch with the lady and are working on it.

OES Rescue of Southern California, Inc.
Here is another reply from the owner, I can be available to drive down to San Diego to pick her up. Again I can foster her but I will not be selfish but open to whoever has a better foster home for her...just want the best for the dog

Hello
If you really thhink you want her you are more than welocome to come see her.
Alot of people are inquiring about her I just want whhoever takes her to know what they are getting into. She is very high maintenance and spoiled. If she gets out she will roam around if she hasn't been exercised but she always comes back. She is a very loving dog but she thinks she is a four year old little girl.

I have been playiiing tag with the oes rescue for a month..
I am really busy now and she is not getting the attention she needs and I cannot afford to take her to the vet to have her checked out. She seems fine but she leaks urine sometimes
when she sleeps. that is why she is outside dog now.

Funny you mention about crazy barking, mine do that when they see people passing by our house. We have 7 feet tall brick walls surrounding the backyard, so the only chance they can see passer by would be through the gap of the front gates. My dogs get very noisy when they play too. Good thing about having three similar size dogs is that she can get someone in the same size to play with and release some energy.

I understand if you are still worry about this idea because you want to find the best fit home for her.

I actually found your listing through the oes forum and I read the post that some other members have already contacted you.

Please keep this at the back of your mind that if somehow the right family has not come by before you move, I can foster and the members from the oes forum has a lot of members who will chip in effort for transports or any other means of help to make sure the girl will go to the best suited family.

I hope you will give me the chance to give a home to this pretty girl but whatever your decision will be, best of luck and I will understand even if I am not chosen, it only means she get to go to an even better home.

Thanks
Martini
