Good to be back home in Co

Starting my old job back on Wed, found a place to live. Actually just going back to my old residents. A 2 bdrm, 1 bath, fenced in backyard, overlooking Evergreen lake, and downtown. I love it there, walk to anything you want, from java to fine dining, to the lake. All within five minutes of the front door, wonderful location. Very picturesque, do not know why I ever left. Only problem is I cant move in until it gets completed. Everything is being gutted and new is going in. So we are going to stay with a friend for a couple of months whom love Obe. They will be sheepie owners soon, he is working his charm on both of my friends.

Nice way to get the landlord to spruce up the place for ya! :D

Welcome home.
Glad you made it back safely. You may have to stay in temporary digs but your reno'ed place will be swell. Get your friend to take a rescue!
Welcome Back To Colorado Shon And Obe!!! :D
Couldn't imagine why anyone would leave Evergreen?? Other than it's not the community I knew in the 60's/70's....still the setting is wonderful. Right downtown! Glad you are back.
Glad you made it back...there is no place like home. :D
Glad to hear you made it back to CO safely. Cool about the reno'd apartment!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the welcome and support that goes on within this group. A wonderful bunch on individuals. BTW made it across country without a smoke. For some reason never really craved a cig until this trip.
No, it's not the Evergreen of the 70's but then again I was just a little pup during that time. I have been told stories of what it was like. My boss grew up in Evergreen and he has some stories.
Shon and Obe...

Welcome home. Enjoy!
I mentioned that some friends were thinking about adopting a sheepie. Tara has found one @ the rescue in Co. His name is Charlie and he is 8 yrs old. I told her it would be a perfect dog, already trained, out of the puppy years (if that is possible). So she asked her husband Colin if he would be interested in adopting Charlie, he said no. Then Mr. Obe went over and did the sheepie growl, bark, talk thing they do. Of course the response from Colin was... I know tell me about your day buddy, as Colin proceeded to pet and give belly rubs. Which Obe returned with sloppy sheepie kisses. It may not be Charlie but I can see a sheepie coming.
Welcome back to CO, Shon!
You're making me homesick again, shon. :(

Glad you're back where you belong. Stay put now. ;)
Welcome back home!
That sounds great, your old place renovated. How cool! 8)
Glad you made it back home. :P Sounds like y'all are going to be just fine.
