OES and Paranormal Behavior

Do dogs have paranormal abilities? Something spooky happened to my pup last night.

Peppo and I were walking after dark in a part of town we don't usually go to. Suddenly, he stopped on his tracks in front of an elegant house, and started barking at the empty porch as if he had seen a ghost. There wasn't anyone there, and there were no lights inside the house.

I wondered why is he doing this, what is he seeing? When I saw a plaque and realized that the house was actually a funeral home!

OH I LOVE PEPPO!!!! What a lovely dog :hearts:

There have been a few posts recently about dogs seeing things we cannot. Well, they hear things we cant, so why seeing things too? I'm sure they do sense things. Looks like you should go on a ghost hunt with your lovely dog :D
Don't forget scent. Probably the single most powerful sense they have, but we tend to forget that as ours is so lousy in comparison...

Exactly. I bet they can smell strange odors (both chemical and human) from a funeral home. :(
I am certain dogs sense the energy. The week my daughter died at 19, her friends and I were sitting on the porch when her OES went outside and all of a sudden starting going in circles barking at the sky...Daisy was 8 at the time and very laid back...she had never acted that way and wasn't a barker. All of us sitting there knew Leslie was talking to her...Leslie had trained her from a puppy and they were very close. She only played with Leslie and always got excited only for her. I know people often think others are crazy if they believe that we visit through energy after we are gone from the earth...I would have before my experiences. I personally went to a John Edwards seminar and he related several readings where a former pet was with a loved one...he knew their name and some little personal story about the pet...it was reassuring knowing Leslie is surrounded by 2 OES's...Callie and Daisy. My girls always felt safe having their dog by their side growing up. My 31 yr. old daughter J. Marie is thrilled we will be getting an OES puppy the end of May...her husband isn't used to having a dog in the house and she knows she can visit and continue to get her OES loving. They do add so much to our lives and it sounds crazy but it gives me comfort knowing they are still with my Leslie!
Oh is he the 'Crossing Over' guy?
How wonderful that your daughter was plying with the dog.. if you can still play with your dog then death is nothing to be afraid of :hearts:

I love the thought of being able to play with my dogs in spirit. AND I'm going to haunt one or two people as well, thats for sure
At first I thought this thread was going to be all creepy and that I would get scared, but it ended bringing me happy thoughts. Thanks! :)
