Why is everyone so quiet on a Friday afternoon?

| I just made 60 awards for the people who volunteered while the troops were gone. I'm dang tired and we still have company tonight coming to play cards and eat.
I love cards. Hate that there will be no drinking involved. hope everyone has a good weekend. |

I think it's been a rough week all around for a lot of people. Spring fever? It's my busiest time of the year and one of my co-workers is on maternity leave, so I'm picking up the slack there a bit. I was so tired this afternoon that I asked my boss a really idiotic (as in blatantly apparent to anyone with half a brain in gear) question, barely caught myself, and he laughingly demanded to know if I was blonde in a former life (customary apologies to all blondes apply). Then I was on the phone with one of the people in our TX office who was clearly having the same kind of day, so we decided we were probably blonde sisters in a former life.  
Oh, well, the sun is actually shining and if you ignore the fact that it's barely above freezing, I'm thinking something can be salvaged yet of this day

4:30 is THE time I'm waiting for......about 45 more minutes...and its home...jammies....turn on the fire....and kanoodle with Cos, Pearl and Heart...(dino works all night on Fridays...it's my time to just relax and bond with the furkids...OR clean the house....guess which one I generally do?????????????????????????????)

| I have an appointment with my trainer right after work...then home to have my daily "makeout" session with the dogs, and then....(Paula, are you listening?) CHIVAS TIME! We do have something really fun planned tomorrow night. We're going downtown (Chicago) for dinner at Osteria Via Stato, and then seeing Mandy Patinkin sing at the Chicago Theatre. That is very different for us. We rarely leave our little village! (Have I ever told you, I'm madly in love with Mandy Patinkin? Fell in love with him when he was on Chicago Hope!) |

| Oh my gosh! He sings like an angel! He was the orginal Che in the Broadway production of Evita! He has LOTS of records, ah, albums, ah.....oh you know!!!!! He has a very theatrical voice. |
| Ohhh! I love him too. I really liked his in the Showtime series "Dead Like Me". I think it only lasted 1 or 2 seasons. |

EXCUSE ME????????? I believe I have the original Che... (should have named one of his sisters Evita...not too late, it's not like Sybil acknowledges that she knows her name more than, oh, 60 % of the time anyway )

| I was watching "a baby's story" on cable...I have no idea why I was...just turned on the tv and there it was. Ok, ok, I turned on the Kareoke station first...didn't feel like singing...so changed to babies. lol I am way past the age of having babies and don't know anyone expecting, other then the few on here...so no idea why I watched it.
One sister and her hubby couldn't have any children so sister was surragate for her and had twins....for those who keep up with these things. Met hubby for lunch with the girls....then the girls(the dogs) and I went to the car wash with the "shaggy shuttle"...home and to the TV. lol A quiet Friday afternoon..... Have a great weekend! |

| kid hasn't pooped in two days, so he spent from 1-5:30 a.m. staying up to grunt and fart. Poor boy. ...gave him water mixed in with gripe water and he still can't get it out. This is a boy who goes every other hour since the second he was born 10 wks ago. I'za so tired now. I'm already looking forward to bedtime tonight and not the painting we have to do today. |
My doctor had me put a teaspoon of mineral oil in the bottle...if you use one.  Worked on mine when the plugged up. If you nurse than your diet needs to change...or glycerin suppositories if he gets real bad. |
