Transport Help
Anyone near Mobile that could help transport old George towards Atlanta next Friday? He is coming from Austin Tx to Mobile with the help of some wonderful folks and going to his forever home near Raleigh, NC. His new owners are friends of mine and George is very lucky to find this wonderful and very experienced home. I wish I could be as spoiled as he will be lols. George is 11 or 12 I believe, but bathed, healthy, shaved and clear of any problems except normal age mobility problems, so a comfy bed on a floor is all he would need while transported. The family who is taking George lost two older oes this past year. If you are a member of the OESCA, the two they lost are on the June cover of the OESCA Times this past year, Grey & Woolsey. They still have a 3 year old girl to keep George company, Annie. They more than understand what is required and what they may deal with that comes along with age in ole George. Zach |

I had nothing to do with George being rescued. The great folks at TexOESR did that great work and I'm not totally familiar with everything that was done. A wonderful women named Joy is fostering him until we can get him transported. I am just helping with transport. I see that Texas OES Rescue could use some help with funding on a special boy name Otis. His bills are already over $1,500.
