Grannie Annie also asked that I spread the word that she rescued two from Missouri this weekend. I don't have any more info now but will keep you posted.
update - The two are named Andy and Annie as in raggedy, they have a temporary foster home in Smithville, MO. We don't know if they are related. They are both young adults and are currently being spayed/neutered and vetted. Their only issue is some nasty worms. Both dogs are very happy and friendly.
Smithville, MO? That is only 12 miles from where I live! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
I could also help and could be interested. I'm about 2.5 hours away.
If it happens that they need transport this direction or a bit eastward I'd be happy to help.
anyone interested in helping should contact grannie.annie@neoesr.org - tell her you are from the forum and that you know or better yet were part of the group rescuing the great Echabod, hairy oes/beagle!
Grannie Annie said that the two sheepies in MO looking for homes turned into three: 2 males and 1 female.
