Anyone know of rescues near Kansas City help mutt?

I know Echabod is posted on another thread but I am desperate to help. One angel is picking him up Thursday and cannot keep him! He will be put to sleep Thursday otherwise. Can anyone suggest a place that will take him near Kansas City, or northeast Oklahoma, or Missouri?
