Pathos girl checking in

Hello all :)

Yup...still sick :( Still no clue why Im having such a lot of problems, but I added an inner ear infection to the sinus troubles, migraines and ulcer. BLECH! Im thinking maybe a complete head transplant might be the best solution, since most of my difficulties seem to centered there  Maybe they can make me a blue eyed blond while they're at it :lmt:

However...I have a show this weekend, and miserable or not, I have had to get back to work to prepare for it. Poor Scott is probably going to have to deal with the customers, as I am about as personable as a wolverine with toothache

I miss you guys. Pissy and cranky and anti-social as I am, I still love ya

What you just said... lots of people here are suffering from this. It takes a long time to get over looooonnnnggggggggggggg time
Hey....

What are you guys doing for heat?

Do you have Carbon Monoxide detectors in your home and in your workplace and all other enclosed spaces you frequent?
Poor thing :( . Feel better soon!
Hi Raven,

Thanks for the update and gotta admit you have a talent for writing as you do art! I happen to think Wolverines are pretty cool! Small, compared to some wild beast but mighty ferocious! Although, I admit to never having met one..let alone one with a toothache. I'd certainly give them wide berth while they passed by. Still despite your description I'm sure you're still personable and perhaps a chance of atmosphere may do you good.

Now if you changed to a blue eyed blond I'd have to start calling you Blondie instead of Raven. Raven is much cooler!!

Take care and hope you're feeling better soon!

Marianne
I was just thinking about you - I had noticed you still were absent. :( :(

That's a crappy deal that you still are like the wolverine....

I hope you start feeling better and that your show goes well - healthwise and $$$$-wise.
Sorry to hear that you are still feeling crappy. :(
I hope the show goes well and that you are feeling better soon.
:ghug:
GET WELL SOON!!! :ghug:

It sounds miserable, I hope things soon improve. Do something that will cheer you up after the show, maybe stay in bed all day watching your favourite show, reading your favourite book or eating your favourite food. Make it a whole day for YOU.

Lots of sheepie hugs from Rufus too xx
so sorry you are still feeling yuckkky!!! Hopefully, you will begin to feel better soon!!!
Laurel I have a solution....come to Florida and get some much needed sunshine and fresh air...the door is always opened here. 8)

I am really sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well. It is blasted miserable. While you are changing to a blue eyed blonde, get a much younger head also..maybe 20 something lol.

Good luck at you show! Thank you for checking in with us, we do worry if we don't hear from you.

Get well soon!
hurry up and get well...i miss your cheekiness!!
:ghug:
Oh, you poor thing! I hope you get well very soon! :ghug:
Two things come to mind as possible root causes that are worth investigating:

stress
allergies

If you can (and i do understand how asking you to do absolutely anything but bury your head under a pillow is cruel) try to check these out with a medical professional.

In any case, you have my sympathy. I hope that things improve for you, and that you have a good show.
Hey Larel that Florida ie isgreat, I will go with you. I need a break. I will be by tomorrow to see you at the show. Just remimber,DO NOT BEND OVER. You could pass out.
Maybe this will just spark a new and darker period in your art!

Hope you feel better soon.
Same here - this stuff is easy to catch and hard to get over.
Hope you feel better..good luck at the show

Ooooh, if Laurel's getting a 20 something head, maybe the same doc can give me a 20 something body. We could share a room.
Ron's question bears some thought! Some environmental question might be part of your problem.

I hope spring brings relief. We miss you.

susan
Thanks for the well wishes!

Ron...we thought of the Carbon Monoxide thing too, and got a detector...nope, not the problem. Good catch though :)

As far as how the show is going...um...well it says something that Im actually AT the show right now....and typing on the forum  ....its kinda dead  Oh well, yesterday was very good (money-wise) so I really dont care.

The show is a neat one, its called "Fiber-Fest" and features all art that involves cloth, yarn or other "fibers". I do lots of silk-fiber paper in my work so I qualified, but most of the other booths are quilters, weavers, knitters, etc. There is also a wearable art fashion show (WOW! 8O ...awesome stuff!) And displays of art-dolls, amazing quilts, and other cool stuff.

Id forgotten how healing the company of good friends can be. I know almost everyone here, and the conversation and laughter has done me a world of good. My next-booth-neighbor (An older native lady named, believe it or not, Raven :D ) has been giving me backrubs and stern lectures about my lack of healthy life habits all weekend   Im downgrading from wolverine to slightly cranky grizzly bear
Maybe take that CO detector with you everywhere you go for a while?

I don't like your symptoms.

Bad Symptoms, BAD SYMPTOMS. DOWN!
I'm glad to hear that being at the show was actually good for your, Laurel. :) Maybe you'll start feeling better soon. :)
feel better soon!!
:D We hope you'll feel bettter very soon! Is lack of humidity an issue in your environment?
I've been so busy and only reading a few threads due to lack of time that I missed this.

I totally think lack of humidity is an issue here. The humidity level in our house is 15% with a humidifier running!

We miss you so much ravenmoonart!! Hope all continues to get better (but faster). *kisses to the doggies who I'm sure want mommy better too*
I'm glad you are upgraded to grizzly.

Yes, friends can be such a healing force, especially when there's laughter, and a shared love of important things. Add in some massage, and no wonder you are making some progress.

Keep going that direcition and listen to Raven.
