Cat Litter?

Heard from my friend that cat litter will work for potty training.... any thoughts? or would you suggest it?

I would not suggest it, personally. Tucker EATS cat litter, which isn't healthy, particularly if it's the clumping kind, which can apparently clump INSIDE him and cause potentially fatal problems.

Have you considered puppy pads??? They're intended for that exact purpose, and I think they even have pheremones in them to encourage the pup to pee on them.
I agree - I know of animals that have been put down because of illnesses related to cat litter. Ingestion can be dangerous. Sheepies are very smart and learn quickly with consistency. Say "hurry-Up" while she is using the bathroom. Don't say any other words and say it everytime. Soon she will potty almost everytime you take her out and say - Hurry Up. No need for messy cat litter.
I've never met a dog who didn't eat cat litter so I wouldn't think that would be a great idea.
thx for the info~ food for thought~~
