Monthly Lifetime Weigh In

Today was my monthly, Weight Watchers weigh in. I have to maintain my weight within 2 pounds of my goal.

My Weight Watcher goal was about 10 more than my personal goal.

Well, I lost another 4 pounds this month! Which put me 6 pounds away from my "real" goal!

I have to admit, I'm pretty proud. And everyone in the group was so happy for me. I've lost a total of 45 pounds now.

Key West is 11 weeks away, and that will really be a challenge.

Congratulations honey! You look maaahvelous!
well done. I know how hard it is to lose weight. I got to my target 2 years ago and then 9 lbs crept back on and it has taken me 20 weeks and I still have half a pound to go....just been eating chocolate so perhaps not this week...
Congrats!!!!!!!!! Good Job!
Congratulations Deb!!!! that is awsome. I know how hard it is to lose the weight, but the real challenge is to keep it off.

I have been a Lifer for 7 years now.. I still go every week for weigh-in. I find for myself.. if I only go once a month.. I get slack.

Keep up the great work!!!

Brenda (who can't resist those 1lbs solid bunnies!!!!)
great job!!!! im really proud of you!! cant wait to hear about your vacation...with pics of course!
Great job! :)

HA HA! Even though I'm now "svelt" and am working out a lot, I still have a 58 year old body...so NO BIKINI FOR ME!!!

For our trip last year, I bought 3 of the most expensive bathing suits, I've ever had. I had already started losing lots of weight and was really happy that they were size 14 (I started out 18-20). Well...this year, I'm a size 10...so needless to say I need to buy new suits. Tony is not amused, and my daughter was the recipient of the suits!

I still go to my meetings every week. It keeps me focused. I'm really afraid if I stop going I'll gain. And, I really love the people in my group and my leader. I'm sure that has helped me termendously. This may sound petty, but another thing that changes when you reach goal, is that you've reached goal! Meaning, you are no longer changing. During the weight loss process people are always giving you kudos, and telling you how fabulous you are looking. But you reach goal...you have pull these things from within yourself, because the people who are regularly in your life are used to the new you.

They had asked me to become a group leader, and I really thought about it, but now that I'm working out 3 -4 times a week, work full time, and have 3 dogs, its just not do-able. Although I would love have been able to do it.
Deb if you are concerned about a 58 yr old body in a bikini...you haven't seen our beaches here. Believe me, it would be a welcomed sight compared to what most people wear. lol Tankinis are great!

Buy one bikini just so you can say you wore one when you where 58 woo hoo!

Have fun in the Keys!!!
Wow, Deb, that's fabulous! :cheer:

I'm really proud of you and happy for you. :yay: I know how hard you've worked to get here and the results are fantastic.

Celebrate that new figure with a couple of new Swimsuits and just look at the ones you bought last year as a gift to your daughter.

BTW, where did you get your swimsuits? I've got to do that, too, and I'm looking for ideas. Did you try one of those swim suit speciality stores where they do fittings, etc?
One of the suits was from Eddie Bauers, the other two I got in Key West at the Beach House on Duval.

Guess I'll be going back there
The two I have that no longer fit I ordered from Eddie Bauer, too. I really, really like them both - excellent quality. I am leaning toward a speciality shop this time, though, so I can try things on first. :?

I so enjoy shopping on Duval street. :D That's FUN. :D
Deb, that's so great that you're still losing weight and sticking to it!
