Our newest addition Asia Jade! (the black Aussie)

Asia is China's niece...she was rehomed to us and we are so excited. Asia is only 8mts old and is already as big as her Aunt China. She is a little love and Violet and China enjoy playing with her so much.

We are at the beach letting the girls in the ocean for the first time.

How wonderful!!! The new member of the family--- AND the warm sunshine. We are heading to Florida on Monday for 12 days!!! Your pictures just make me more anxious than ever to get started on vacation.
Fantastic! Congratulations! Such beautiful pictures. . .
Congrats on the new 4 legged addition to the family!!!
Asia Jade sounds like fun - but I need some closeups of her. She looks cute, from the beach shots...

Your weather looks gorgeous....we just got another clipper that unexpectedly dumped several inches in an hour on us. It was only predicted as a dusting.. I will look at your beach and flower pictures, and pretend this snow does not exist.
Awww just wonderful and what a gorgeous area you live at :D

Welcome Asia Jade to the family. Violet and China look like they love the newest family addition. :D

Congrats on the new addition! :)

Beautiful pics.... I love the beach....
Awesome! I agree with Dawn, though. I need some closeups!
Thank you everyone for the "welcome" to Asia! So far so good with Asia. Violet has accepted her as someone new to play with and boss around. lol It has been very interesting watching the three girls get to know each other.

Violet was adopted from a rescue at 9mts old and was there with 7 other dogs...so in her early years was used to "other" dogs and is the first one at the fence when the neighbors dogs come out.

China was adopted by us at 8 wks and so most of her interaction with other dogs was Violet. These interactions where not always good as Violet got older and crabbier. So China was ok around other dogs, but diggerent then Violet.

Asia, even though she is only 8 mts old spent most of her young life left out in the backyard with her litter mate with very little interaction with people. About a month ago, they rehomed her litter mate and Asia was left out in the backyard or in a crate in the house..very little human contact.

So now that Asia is here, all three of the dogs play together. Violet gets running down the fence line and there is Asia right behind her (yes, been run over a few time, but gets right back up and runs). It gives me such joy to watch them run and play together. China is getting less afraid of Violet, which is good, because she watches Asia around Violet and she is to young to be afraid. lol So both China and Asia are blossoming with this new situation. Violet is happy because "bitties" have come back in to the house. lol

The temps went down to a high of 60/70 for two days and so at night I had two Aussies in my bed keeping me warm...what more could a Mom want.

All three are doing great on their daily walks also...the pic of me walking them is how we do it everyday. :D

I will, indeed, post closer pics of Asia as soon as I can get some good ones...she is a mover and a grover so hard to get a good "head" shot. I would love all of you to really see what a beauty she is.

Thank you again for your good wishes!

Lori, we'll keep the "sun" on for you! Have a great time! We are warming up to normal this week..so enjoy! What part of Florida are you going to?
Congrats on the new addition and love the pics. Even though it made me wish I was at the beach, or living in Florida with my brother. Either way have just one question... on the pictures why does it say 2009, did I miss a full year somewhere?
I'm jealous....

What a beautiful trio you've got there!

Enjoy, enjoy. For me.
Welcome Asia! She is beautiful!

Helen I think I need to come visit!

We had our first good taste of spring this weekend, too. It was sunny and 65 both days and is supposed to be in the low 70s today. Too bad I have to work.
