When do Sheepies realise they are bigger than Yorkies?

realise they are bigger than a yorkie?

Summer keeps jumping on the chair, like the yorkie does, and gets quite annoyed when she doesnt quite fit. I was fussing the yorkie on the floor, she was helping me dust under the table when Summer joined in and sort of sat on my head the more I laughed the more she sat on me....

Nevah!
Yeah, pretty much never! Barney only thinks he's as big as his head
George thinks he is little too.

He only likes playing with little dogs and has recently decided he doesn't like other sheepies especially if they are in full coat :?
I would have to agree with NEVAH!
Oh, they aren't lap dogs?
Summer came across an Akita the other day and growled at it. Hubby in her defence said it looked a bit like a wolf and she thought she was protecting her "herd"!
Winston thinks he is "little" too. He likes to snuggle on my lap when I sit on the floor....too bad my lap does't hold more than his head.

Unfortunately they do not seem to know that Violet well at least mine all think they belong on our laps and if possible all at the same time
Yup, Sami thinks she is a poodle  and why oh why do they want to sit on your head
Ha! I was just talking about this the other day!! Tucker will SWEAR to you that he is the same size as the cats:

HA HA HA! Pirate does that too!!!!
Fitzwilliam definitely thinks he's the size of a Yorkie (his best bud, Leo, is a Yorkie cross) and he's quite afraid of any dog bigger than a Yorkie too, silly pup!

KTB - how did you manage to get your sheepie to play gentle with your Yorkie? This is becoming a bit of an issue with poor little pounced upon Leo.
We had Summer on a trailing lead in the house when she came into Tillys front room if she played too rough she was made to lay down. If she continued she went back into the kitchen. She realised that to stay in Tillys front room she had to play nicely. She will play rough in the kitchen (her area) but Tilly has a chair and if we put her on the chair Summer doesnt touch her. We also have a lead attached to a bench just outside the back door as poor Tilly couldnt even have a wee without being flattened but after weeks of being attached to the lead Summer has learnt "leave" Sometimes I swear Tilly taunts her though and then asks someone to pick her up to rescue her!
Learn they aren't lap dogs? It's more a question of how soon will we accept that they are in fact, lap dogs:) Every night I have four big paws crawling across me as Chopin situates his "not-so-little" self on top of me for bed and why on earch does he still want me to pick him up? I mean he weighs almost as much as me...
 my hubby used to say you will regret picking her up!
She now comes to me when I am sitting in the kitchen and stands sideways and plants her front half on my lap and then tries to hitch her bum up. I have to haul her back end on my lap and cuddle her....she doesn't do it to hubby! She also still asks my son to pick her up! I fill 2 water bowls up, one in the kitchen a massive stainless steel one you could wash your feet in and one in the front room up a corner saying "puppy" nice and small. Guess which one Summer heads for and empties about 3 times a day!

here is Summer convinced she is the same size as Tilly!
now that is really cute, they are so contented on that couch:)[/img]
I woke up last night ( fell asleep on the couch ), I had chest pain and trouble breathing, afraid....heart attack...no, Chauncey laying completely on top of me from head to toe plus some. He had his head nuzzled against mine and was flat on top of me
They are lap dogs...
Melanie, that is the greatest picture by the way, adorable
Obe is a lap dog for sure. I think the bigger he gets the more he thinks that way.
Both my wife and I have been fighting, and losing, to this cold that 's going around. Bella thinks that she should comfort us by laying on top when ever one lays down on the couch or sits back in the chair. I don't think they ever develop a sense of their own size. They still see them selves as little puppies.
