| Our dogs are members of the family. I cannot imagine making any decision (other than out of total and absolute necessity) that would not include them.
You are not crazy, I could not leave mine OR could I subject them to 6 months of quarantine. |
| I have a friend who moved to UK from states. She found a wonderful kennel in Belgium that took the dogs for the 6 months instead of putting them into the cages in the UK. Now this was breed specific......sheepdogs going to a sheepdog family/kennel.
Perhaps you could live on the Continent with the dogs for 6 months? |
| I would never leave my boys behind. NEVER! They've been moving with us even if we have to pay $$$$$! I don't care if I have to spend thousands of dollars on them they are my puppies and they are coming with me/us.
I've heard from a friend who moved to England that the 6 months quarantine was to keep the dogs in their yard/home. |
| I could never leave my dogs behind. In fact, we ended up buying a house because we couldn't find a place to rent that would take the dogs We were forced to buy a house. So our last move cost us $255,000... just so we could keep our dogs. |
| Prof. Boni I would never leave my boys behind. NEVER!
NEVER say NEVER. |
