Lunar Eclipse

Anyone else looking at this Lunar Eclipse? It's cloudy here in Phoenix, but when the moon is out from behind the clouds, looks cool. Next eclipse in the year 2010.

It looked awesome here in NJ. Nice crisp & clear night here. I even got the binoculars out. It is amazing how much more I could see!

Are they shooting the satellite down in the Pacific tonight? Was wondering if anyone will be able to see that.
I tried to take pictures but they didn't come out great. The moon actually looked red here.
We timed our walk tonight to coinside with it. Weather was clear but cold. It was worth the cold walk. It looked really cool.
We had an meteor explode over our coast the previous evening and although I missed it as it was at 5 am, our news hour has shown it many times. 911 operators got hundreds of calls as the sky was lit up and it looked like numerous explosions on the horizon, people thought it was a UFO.

Would be cool to have seen it as well as a Lunar Eclipse.

It was beautiful!
fantastic....the moon was also red looking here........our sky was soooooooo clear you could watch the whole thing....but you would have frozen doing it.....so we did it in stages
Clear night here , we saw it through our skylight. Awesome.

We were forecasted for cloudy weather and
glad the clouds did not roll in.

It's 6:13 a.m. now, the full moon is an light orange sherbet color
in the Western horizon. La bella luna!

It's clear today, with forecast for snow

   cloudy here

I remember a few years ago we were not aware of a lunar eclipse so while sitting in the hot tub one evening we were quite surprised by the event. That was fun.
Oh that would've been fun, Susan, to be surprised by it like that. How cool. :D

It was cloudy here last night, but it finally cleared up around 10:00, so we were able to see most of it. We kept getting up during the commercials (watching American Idol) and going outside to look at the moon.
we was nice orange here, we took the dogs for a run to see it better no lights around.
missed the eclipse....but watched our mini hurricane.....wind blew HARD due east right into our boarded up front windows (we are fixing all of the old crank casments...) at 10:30 last night i was running from window to window with towels and rags......

we actually had thunder and lightning..woooo scary!
It was a cool sight. I was driving home from our therapy dog visit, so I could watch it out my windows as I drove home. I watched it some more out the kitchen window later. We had the pretty red color too.
My 20 yr old son even called to make sure we were watching it!
I was on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico. What a great view!! Bright white moon and only a couple of clouds. So cool!!
