I believe in-vitro fertilization is the procedure. I also think most insurance companies do not cover this.
The can also sometimes successfully do a reversal of a tubal ligation, but I don't if the success rates are high.

I think one member had this procedure done and then became pregnant, but I'm pretty sure that there was some sort of test done before to determine how likely success would be. Good luck to you.
No disrespect or offense intended but I have to wonder, do you realize this is an OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOG FORUM? I think there may be a more appropriate forum for this type of question.

Good Luck.
Naaaaah. You give us a question, we'll give you an answer. :D

I think people stumble here following a Google thread and don't realize exactly what the site is. I would hate for someone to ask a question thinking this was a health or GYN forum.
I agree w/Tasker's mom. The question is so out of place when the person signs up JUST to ask that.

I don't think the response(s) would be nearly the same from a veteran user here. If anything, it's a turn off. :?

Well, with the amount of babies being born around here, I can see how people might be confused!
Oh, we're not ObstetricianEducationService.org?

Why, do we give bad advice?

You think it's out of place either way. :D

You lost me ...?
I absolutely hear what Mrs. J is saying. (and agree).

And yes Ron, our advice could very well be bad. It's one of the reasons I never quite understand why people ask medical questions on any kind of "online" forum. As a medical professional I feel very strongly that medical advice should be given by MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS qualified to answer that specific question.

Now this poster is asking a question anecdotally, not necessarily looking for medical advice but it is still a curious place to ask such a question and even "curiouser" that someone would join JUST to ask such a question.

WHich leads me (back) to my previous conclusion. They have "googled" the subject and the "THREAD THAT NEVER ENDS" has led them here and they don't realize that it's a dog forum.

Which is not to say some might want to jump in withtheir annecdotal advice but it just seems the poster would want to KNOW where they are.
Sometimes it is nice to ask a question where you won't be treated like a noob.
what's a noob?
lol newbie
Wasn't there a thread started on this topic a few years ago, and kept resurfacing? Kinda like the thread that wouldn't die.
That was the ORIGINAL "Thread that never ends"!

She did not have this done as her tubes were too short to have it reversed. She had invitro done as it was the only option for her.

I love that not only did it not end, it created a new one from itself!

I would also like to add that I find this thread annoying also.
Especially the people that come in and say, I've had my tubes tied, but I am late.... what do I do?

DUH!! TAKE A TEST for pete's sakes!!!
Yeah, it's tough when you are faced with such a life altering situation and you're not thinking so clearly at the moment.
To me, I think it's odd, but then again, people ask inappropriate questions in real life, so why not here?

I would *hope* that this person (or all these people!) would notice that there is a lot of sheepdog information on this site and take the responses they get with that in mind.

I belong to another forum that deals with a medical issue and it's CRAZY that amount of bad medical advice being thrown around on it as fact. It really scares me how someone will ask a question and another person will answer it with complete certaintly (and I'll know for a fact the response is wrong). But the poor original person asking the question doesn't know that.
okay, this is driving me crazy....im one who has to have all the yellow notice thingys go away.....so stop posting on this one....so i dont have to click on it...........

silly stupid overly reoccuring topic
hahahahahahahahahaha
you are too funny Darcy!!

Don't read it and if there are no more responses (like this one ) and you close your browser between visits it won't be highlighted.

Something like the bad dog training advice that is tossed into this forum at times..
