When does growth spurt stop?

My 13-week pup has been gaining 2-3 pounds a week. When does this growth spurt take a break?

I am amazed at how efficiently their metabolism processes food. In 5 weeks, he's eaten probably no more than 25 lbs worth of Kirkland puppy food, but gained 14 pounds! He does drink lots of water, too.

Could be wrong on this, but he will keep growing till about 12 months, it will taper down somewhere around 6 or 8 months?

Size wise he/she will stop ideally around 21 inches or maybe a bit more (not sure on the max)

After the first year he should broaden out and beef up a bit with in the second year... after that, the growth generally stops.....except if you like your puppies fat

I could be incorrect on this so guys chime in if I am out in left field.

Also I think there are several post on this sort of thing. I would try a search on size or growth
Blue did a major growth at that time. And lots at 4 1/2 months. Ate like a horse. He is 7 months now still growing but not as fast. But he is getting husker, Where Sami is more slender at 16 months, She seem to thicken up at 12 months in the chest area.
