Cute girl...
Wish I lived close by....

But there is a price on her? Maybe the owner is looking to sell?
(Best offer)

Would make a good mother as she is a nice and tall OES

I kind of laughed reading that line. Just seems goofy.
I agree...that line seems stupid. What does tall have to do with it? I also wonder if the mom is on site if she is a BYB who changed her mind about this one. Hmmmm....
Colorado rescue is out of Colorado Springs and probably knows about her, but will not pay the fee the lady is probably asking. Sounds like a puppy mill getting rid of stock with emphasis is height and "mother." I wouldn't trust the soundness of that dog at all. And mentioning CKC registration........what a racket. Another flag for byb's. Grrrrr.
I wrote to her on the 29th... she would like $250 for her.
Always looking for one more special sheepie in trouble
Is she offering her up for breeding??????????

Is she spayed?
She said she is NOT spayed and is open to the best
offer but would like to recoup the $250 if possible.
Nope.

I've learned the hard way; these are not adoptions, they are sales.

I actually saw a court tv show a few months back. In it a lady with a dog made a contract with a woman with a bitch that she would get $300 for all puppies more than 2 from a breeding, and sued because she didn't get paid. The defendant wanted 2 puppies from the litter, one for herself and one for a family member.

The defendant told the court that she advertised the pups on Craigslist. The judge said "But Craigslist doesn't allow puppies for sale" to which the defendant replied "I advertise them as adoptions with a fee."

BOTH the palintiff and the defendant were standing on soap boxes proclaiming to the world how they were "animal lovers."

The kicker? After giving birth, the defendant put the 10 year old bitch up for adoption on Craigslist.    She just wanted a new younger model and traded in her 10 year old girl!

I was spitting nails.

I used to defend people on here who "paid $1,000 or $1,500" for a puppy and just wants to get back a couple hundred. Not anymore. Not anymore. If they want what is best for their dog, they will give it up for free to a rescue, otherwise it's a sale.
:clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: Well said.
