Mardi Gras with the St. Louis OES Club

The St. Louis Old English Sheepdog Club took part in the Beggin' Strips Barkus Pet Parade on Sunday, February 27th. We arrived early because it gets very crowded and so we held a party beforehand at Pets in the City. The weather was beautiful and the turnout was terrific - 15 dogs! Afterwards some of us gathered in one of the bars that allows dogs where we drank some hurricanes.

They all look terrific, especially Harry  .
I love the pictures! Looks like you guys really enjoyed yourselves.
I am so jealous. When I go to the Mardi Gras parades down here - our 3 are the only sheepies in it.

(Must find a job near St Louis  )
That looks like it was a lot of fun. Look at all those sheepdogs!!! :D
What wonderful pics! Looks like a really fun day. 8)
You guys have so much fun. :D
Wow! Great pictures - looks like a fun time! How did you make the collars? I'm having a Mardi Gras party on Saturday (yes, I know it's late but it was the only day that worked) and I'd love to make something like that for Bailey!

They are four colors of fleece and except for one swipe in the sewing machine you just cut them. They are those fleece boas sort of like those no sew fleece blankets where you tie off the ends. I will pm you the details.
Who is hiding behind the sign??? Was that Val??? Inquiring minds want to know.

It is Val!

The problem is - and I hate to badmouth the highly paid (sarcasm) volunteer - my husband Tim who just takes the picture without any regard to whether or not everyone is visible.
OK.....OK......O-KAY!!!!!!

It's meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I just LOVE to have my picture taken....dontchaknow...

but that sign was sooooo HEAVY....I had to use 2 hands to hold it up....Judi was counting on me so I couldn't let her down........and we were ALL scrunched together......and I wanted Heart to be seen....(cuz she was so cute and pretty).....and ....and....yadda,yadda,yadda.....

(tee-hee)
I figured it was you since I know how much you love to be photographed. LOL
