Thanks to Obe
The biggest reason was for Obe. Sounds crazy I know but why should he have to be around cigarette smoke. Love my boy! I read a post here about OES and cancer and that got me to thinking about his health. So now we are both living a healthy smoke free life. I guess the woman I met in Atlanta has something to do with it as well. She doesn't like it... but I had already quit upon meeting her. She helped in keeping me from starting aback again. |

You're ON YOUR WAY! Three weeks is a great great accomplishment! Your body is fast healing your lungs, your lung's mucous production has returned, the cillia that move the substances out are waking up. Things are tasting better and people don't think you smell like an ashtray! Wowie! 
I know it's hard, but keep it up. If you get tempted fight it HARD! That ONE will set you back. Come here and post about the temptation.... do jumping jacks! Whatever it takes! |

| Congrats Shon! I quit 10 months ago (but have been known to have a cig or two on social occasions). I miss the actual act of smoking but not all the nonsense that goes with it. Ain't it great to not smell like an ashtray? |
