ahhh

So...Luke has been doing so well with house training. He had not had an accident in over a week so we have been really praising him and letting him know what a good job he has been doing. Well this morning I was petting him and hugging him, again telling him what a good boy he was being and as soon as I stood up, without skipping a beat, he squatted right in front of me and peed. My initial reaction was that it was out of excitement but that is usually just a few little tinkles and this was a full out pee. As soon as he did it he went and laid down on his bed and put his head on his paws looking really ashamed. Obviously he knows it was bad, so why did he do it?? Oh, and we had just taken him out and he peed outside. I know he is still young and will probably have accidents every once in a while, but it just seemed so strange that he did it in the manner that he did...

Was he having fun outside? Every now and then Ty 9my maltese) will go outside and get playing and not empty his bladder completely. He'll come in and run over to his puppy pad and pee the minute we come in.
Heart did the same thing a couple of months ago...

We have just come in from a walk and she squatted in front of me and began peeing...I yelled NOOOOOOO............and ran to the door...She followed and finished her peeing outside...

since then we have not had an accident...(that I am aware of....   ).
Luke is just so darn cute, how could you be mad at him?
Lol thanks he is too cute to be mad at. Everytime he gets into something he shouldn't, I start to get mad and it ends with a giggle when I notice his little stub wagging. I need to post a new picture soon....his fur is getting longer and longer and it's now covering his eyes 8O
