Shopping for an Adjustable Bed
My independant, never-complaining 81 year old mom just got out of the hospital, and we kids have all got to face the fact that she has reached another stage in her life. She is having trouble getting in and out of her bed, so I would like to get her an adjustable one...I envision something that can push her up by the back, so she just has to swing her legs over to get up....and vice versa to get in. Is there something in particular that I need to look at? I've just started searching the web, and there are so many makes/models etc. with or without mattresses. I don't even know where to begin. I am looking for a simple, single bed, like in a hospital...No massage things, or heating or whatever. Just something that can lift her up. Price-range would be between $1000 and $2000, I guess? But less is better....of cource...
