If anyone is considering a pup - there's a beautiful OES ? Mix on petfinder.........

What a cutie he is! He's listed under "Sheep Dog" so many may not have seen him yet!

He is such a cutie! If Tx wasnt far from SC I'd take him in a second! Then Max could have a pal!
Oh! How adorable is he?! Man I wish I had a house now!! Sigh.. no house fairies have come to visit me yet... Hope this cutie finds a good home ;)

Karen :)
He is cute, he looks like is probably off one of those puppy find mills. The markings are cute but not someone anyone would do on purpose if they were a reputable breeder.
I don't think he's a full bred OES! He's very tan/brown by the looks of him. Maybe a Beardie Mix or something - only God Knows!

Either way - I'd take him in a minute! He's had a pretty rough start - hopefully someone takes adopts him soon so he can live the rest of his life the way he should!
I didn't think he looked tan or brown?, though I agree probably not full oes. Maybe I better get my eyes checked...lol
The picture of his body seemed a little more tan than gray to me! It could be MY eyes!

Nothing would suprise me with puppy mills though - he could be a product of one and since he doesn't look like a full bred OES - they could have dumped him!!!
I think he is mostly white, just a little dirty?
Well, I seem to think in the second picture that there is a bit of brown and black on the saddle. It all blends, so I could be wrong. He is very cute. And, I am in Oklahoma and would be willing to do a leg of transport, if anyone wants him. :D
Stormi and co.

He didn't look to be 6 months old to me. He looks younger.

My mother agrees - but I don't think you can tell - especially if he's a mix - it's hard to know how big he'll get!
I thought he was younger too, if he was mostly oes i would say he is only about 12 weeks, maybe 14. If he still has all his baby teeth he is most likely under 16 weeks.
Just wanted to let you all know I emailed the Shelter @ Shelby and recommended that they list him under Old English Sheepdog rather than Sheep dog so he'd get more exposure and she wasn't aware there was a special listing for OES and will look into it! In case anyone tries to get the link above - they may be moving his listing!
