WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live outside of Ithaca NY not too far from Syracuse. Not many sheepies in these parts!! Be sure to post pictures, we love pictures. ESPECIALLY puppy pictures
Welcome Nancy and Rosie. Rosie is a lovely name for a sheepie. You'll learn a lot on this forum, and we love pictures!
HI!!! Nancy and Rosie.....welcome to the forum!!!!!
You're right there sure aren't many breeders around here. We got Rosie near Delphi Falls,NY from a lady that has been breeding for 30 years. She also breeds bloodhounds for the search and rescue and for the troopers in the area. My husband picked out the name Rosie....
Welcome to the forum!
Nice to have you here.

Now your life is Rosy since you've found your Rosie!

Welcome from Mony & Laci. Looking forward to seeing your pictures too.
welcome from the UK
Welcome from Wisconsin as well! Though my parents live in the Syracuse area and I try to get home (and bring my guys periodically) when I can.

The NYS rescue coordinator is Madeline Erickson - she's in Rochester and she is ALWAYS grateful for help with rescue (I used to do transport - up and down the thruway - vroom, vroom) One way to get more plugged into the local OES community. There's also a big show at the Fairgrounds in March that usually draws a pretty good OES entry. If my youngest was in good coat I'd enter her, her mom picked up her first major there, fond memories, my first show dog & I showed her entirely myself, and there's ususally also obedience and agility, which really draws a crowd and which I try to enter as well. Love that show, though probably won't go this year. There's another in late fall. May try to make it for that one. I'll look up the dates and Madeline's contact info (unless somebody has it handy).

Upstate NY isn't as sheepdog desolate as you may think. There's also Marlene Porzio in the southern tier who does agility, obedience and rally. Very nice person. An excellent trainer, too.

Welcome, Nancy and Rosie! Can't wait to see pictures!

I'm from PA but am very familiar with the Syracuse area. My son graduated from Syracure Univ in 2004. We have very fond memories of a lot of places there - the Carousel Mall, and especially Dinosaur's! Yum!

Mandy entered Toby in the show at Syracuse 2 years ago and we went up for that. There were at least 10 sheepies entered and Madeline was there. Had a GREAT time!!

Welcome to the friendliest sheepie place on earth!!
A big welcome from Abi and Abi's mom-Dee. Hope she slept well and didn't need to go potty too often!
Hola from Rochester, NY!! Nice to see another sheepie in western NY! :)
Welcome from Minnesota!

Such a romantic, Ron. Awwww.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new addition!!
Hi and welcome from Ohio
I hope you love your sheepie as much as we do. I am so confused with this site, still trying to figure it out. We have a 5 year old sheepie who is deaf.. You would never know she greets everyone with lots of wiggles and kisses. Welcome Rosie. Best of luck. Sherry
I didn't tell you but we are also from upstate NY ,the Albany area. I saw the picnic on-line that will be held in MA, this coming June 14th. I would love to go and see all the sheepies there. My Mom and I have been looking at pictures all day on the internet. I would love to find another sheepie even if it was special needs. Macy , like I said is deaf. I would need to get a male because we also have a female corgi who thinks she is king kong!!! My Macy would love another friend on her side. If you ever are in the area please let me know. Hope to see you Rosie. My e-mail is deckups@hotmail.com. Sherry
Welcome to the forum congrats on the new puppy.
