Meet Josie, The Petite Foster Sweetheart

Josie was a owner surrender due to a divorce and financial considerations. She was in excellent condition both grooming and in health. She is such a petite sheepie she is not even as tall as London and she only weighs 38 lbs at 14 mths old. She is a little doll. We only get to foster until Sunday and then Betsy is taking her home with her to Alabama where she will be more central to prospective furever homes.

Please excuse London's appearance - it is raining today - and Miss Thing is all wet and looks like a mop head.

Is London going to be able to give her up?
She kinda looks like she's got a puppy-crush :hearts:

Wynette and I have already discussed the fact that my hubby was going to fall in love with her. I do not need three sheepdogs.

Yes you do. If I can handle 3 and a foster - so can you!

Although I strongly suspect because of her being so little (the original owner said she was the runt of the litter) and being such a sweetie that we are going to have plenty of families willing to adopt her.
She is SOOOOOO cute! And London is an awesome foster friend :D
Awwww....what a doll baby!! She's so tiny, you'd hardly even know she was there, Betsy. Are you sure you don't want to keep her???

Bravo, London!! Good job, sweet girl, of taking care of the newbie. :clappurple:
oh what a cutei 3 is as easy as 2
Have you tried carrying London and Josie together, one on each hip, yet?

Need photos!!!!!
Sat Up with the Mafia last night just to make sure "tater tot" would be ok.... (why do I even think she would need me!)

She quickly discovered that Lucky is the "Dogfather" and insisted on curling up under him on the couch to sleep while London snuggled with Sam Adorable! :hearts:
Poor Lucky seems bewildered by this little one getting under him and licking his chin :lmt:

While outside at play with London :yay: If Lucky thinks she has had enough he gives the big boss woof and she runs right back to sit under his chin.

The mafia have her understanding "In, Out, Play, and potty" all in 2 days. But best of all they taught her jump on couch, bed (insert furniture of choice) and cuddle with dad and give kisses

One big happy Mafia +1.

Josie is so tiny - what a little cutie. How nice that she has a sweet personality to match. :D

She looks like the little sister next to London.
What a gorgeous little girl. Never underestimate the little ones . A friend adopted one (failed Foster 102 8) ) and when she visits she rules the roost. It's a good thing she's adorable. I see the same potential here

I thought Miss Ellie was a mini Sheepie, but Josie has her beat. I love petite little Sheeps. :hearts:
Josie is adorable! Best wishes to her. :D
I so want her!!!!
I had what I thought was a petite sheepie Pip (male 57 lbs)
The little ones are so easy to care for, sigh, wish I had dog friendly doggies.
She is precious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can she come to NY to live??? :hearts:
I was looking at the photo of Josie laying on the floor and noticed Josie and the divine Miss E look very much alike physically. I started thinking about what size Miss Ellie was when she was Josie's age. Ellie weighed 38-39 pounds when she was 14 months old. She didn't reach her adult weight of 49-50 pounds until she turned 4 years old. Josie looks like she will fill out like Ellie did.
